Lisa Vanderpump and Ken Todd Score Major Win in $1 Million Lawsuit

Lawsuits are trending on Bravo. Thanks, we hate it. Thankfully, Lisa Vanderpump and her man Ken Todd just scored a massive win by route of a dropped court case, saving them a cool $1 million and a ton of headaches and annoyances.

The plaintiff said pay up, but Lisa Vanerpump and Ken Todd cried nope

Lisa and Ken introduced viewers to their now-defunct PUMP Restaurant Lounge on two separate Bravo series. Throughout Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and Vanderpump Rules, Pump was a character of its own. This lounge was a hot spot for cast gatherings and Pride celebrations, but the rent was asinine, so they bounced.

But then, their former landlord hit them with a lawsuit. According to court documents snatched by In Touch, 8948 Santa Monica Partners, aka the landlord, listed a breach of contract, promissory fraud, and conversion in their suit. To explain, once their lease expired, the liquor license was supposed to transfer to the new owner. And yet, it did not.

In addition, 8948 faulted the defendants for their failures to pay their rent (among other costs), leaving them on the hook for $250,000. The landlord also accused the staff of having sticky fingers, citing missing fixtures and property at moveout.

Therefore, the landlord accused PUMP LLC and Ken of not following the terms of the agreement, asking for $950,000 in damages. But Ken and LVP fought back, calling foul on every listed claim. They only removed antique chandeliers because they owned them, and their liquor license was also theirs, though they would happily sell it for a fair price. As for the rent, Ken noted that both accountants already sorted things out.

Following this, their former landlord dropped the lawsuit. Cue a glass of Vanderpump Rosé. These are the best days of their lives.

Vanderpump Rules is currently streaming on Peacock.
