Season 18 of Real Housewives of Orange County has been filled with juicy drama. Just the way that fans like it. Nearly every cast member has been involved in the fireworks this season.
RHOC viewers have seen Heather Dubrow clash with newbie Katie Ginella. After Katie accused Heather of lying about setting up paparazzi photos, Fancy Pants was icy towards Katie. Meanwhile, Gina Kirschenheiter, who brought Katie into the group, wondered whether she could trust her friend.
Plus, Alexis Bellino made her triumphant return to the franchise. She was a full-time cast member for Seasons 5-8 before returning in a friend role this season. She has some problems with Shannon Beador. And that problem’s name is John Janssen. John previously dated Shannon before falling in love with Alexis and becoming Johnny J. However, Alexis isn’t the only cast member angry with Shannon. Tamra Judge is also upset with her. All of this swirling drama has been a refreshing treat for viewers.
But to have a successful franchise, there must be a villain. Or several. Someone needs to drive the story forward, right? So, which RHOC Season 18 stars are serving villain vibes? Let’s find out!
Emily Simpson
Emily Simpson is having a great season. Her husband, Shane Simpson, is working so Emily can focus on her health and her work with the California Innocence Project. She has lost weight and loves hitting the gym.
However, Emily became annoyed when her bestie, realtor Gina, vouched for their co-star Jennifer Pedranti. Gina helped her find a place to live without a credit check, and then Jennifer was evicted.
Not only was Gina steamed, but Emily was, too. Emily hates it when women rely on men and don’t control their destinies. Or checking accounts. When she saw photos of Jennifer, her Rolex, and her boyfriend, Ryan Boyajian, in Las Vegas, Emily was spitting nails.
At Gina’s dinner party, Emily had some cocktails and then went after Jennifer. During dinner, Jennifer said, “Emily, did you want to end on some positive note?” Emily blurted out, “Jen needs to pay her bills.” She added, “If you want to walk around with a Rolex on while you owe all of Orange County money.”
Of course, Jennifer stated how much she adores her watch, which is broken, and that she isn’t going to sell it. “You’re so f*cking stupid. Go f*cking sell it and pay back some of your bills,” Emily replied. Okay then! While Gina may believe that Emily’s closeness to Tamra is causing her to be more b*tchy, it could just be Emily embracing her villainous side.
Gina Kirschenheiter
During Season 18 of RHOC, Gina is at the center of the drama. She was angry that Jennifer could have negatively impacted her business. Not only did Gina not run a credit check, she thought that Jennifer would move somewhere that she could afford. Nope!
And when Katie first told Gina that Heather allegedly staged paparazzi photos, Gina did nothing. After all, Katie had a text from her contact who was in charge of the paparazzi confirming it.
So, Katie shared the details with the ladies, minus Heather, at a girls’ night out. While that may not have been Gina’s intention, the cat was out of the bag. Now Gina was in a pickle. She told Katie that she needed to talk to Heather about it, or Gina would.
Of course, there was no need, because at Katie’s golf event, Tamra filled in Fancy Pants. When Heather and Katie finally spoke, Katie accused Heather of lying. Well, so much for that possible friendship!
During the trip to La Quinta, Heather explained to Gina how much she hurt her. “I felt betrayed by you. I felt stabbed in the f*cking back,” Heather said. Gina apologized again. She didn’t tell Heather right away when Katie told her because she felt that the rumor would die. Gina also tossed Katie under the bus, claiming that their timelines didn’t match because Katie was lying. You may recall that Katie said that she told Gina months earlier, while Gina claimed it was a matter of days. The math isn’t mathing, ladies.
At the same time, Gina was in trouble with Emily. She told Shannon that lately Emily was “lodged up Tamra’s *ss.” She also said that Emily was acting mean because of hanging out with Tamra. WOW. I love a hard-working villain.
Tamra Judge
Tamra bowed out of the Tres Amigas shows when Vicki Gunvalson and Shannon planned to perform shortly after Shannon was arrested for a DUI. People reported that Shannon was arrested on September 17, 2023, after hitting a planting box that was attached to a home. She was sentenced to 40 hours of community service and three years of probation. Shannon also completed a nine-month alcohol awareness program and had to pay restitution for the damages to the property.
While Shannon completed counseling, she did not go to rehab. And that angered Tamra. She labeled Shannon as “an alcoholic” repeatedly and insisted that she should have gone to rehab. Shan also didn’t stop drinking after the DUI.
But during Gina’s dinner party, Tamra came for Shannon. When Shannon ordered a cocktail with dinner, Tamra called her out. “Every freaking day that I wake up, I think about what happened,” Shannon stated. “Is that after you have a drink?” Tamra asked.
Then Tamra called Shannon a liar, claiming that Shannon couldn’t have paid for everything for John if she allegedly borrowed a large sum of cash from him. Finally, Shannon left the table and decided not to return.
Alexis Bellino
Alexis returned to RHOC and fit in well with the ladies, except for Shannon. While Alexis may have thought that Shannon would be jealous because she is now with John, nothing could be further from the truth. Except, Shannon is probably jealous of Alexis and John, let’s be real. Still, Shannon knows some ALLEGED secrets about John, and she has threatened to reveal them. Meanwhile, Alexis is firmly on Team Johnny J and she believes that they will get married.
During Gina’s dinner party, Alexis set the record straight about John loaning Shannon $75,000, some of which was used for a facelift. Alexis whipped out the actual wire transfers on her phone to show her co-stars.
So, when Vicki asked why Alexis was so involved in John’s financial dealings with Shannon, she replied, “My boyfriend’s reputation has been demolished.” Alexis added, “There’s a lot more, and if she wants to go toe to toe, I’m ready.” Shortly afterward, John sued Shannon for the $75,000, which Shannon insisted was a gift. Worse yet, Alexis revealed to the ladies in Big Bear that John has videos of Shannon the night of her DUI. Yikes! Also, Vicki should really sit out of any conversations involving boyfriends. Ahem, Brooks Ayers and… Steve Somethingorother.
