Why Lindsay Hubbard Doesn’t Live with Her New Boyfriend

Lindsay Hubbard is keeping her NYC apartment to herself. The Summer House star recently revealed that she and her boyfriend aren’t living together. And despite expecting a child, they don’t have plans to change their living arrangements.

The former publicist is still living in the apartment she once shared with Carl Radke. But one year after their breakup was filmed for Summer House, Lindsay is still choosing to live alone. She is, however, nesting in preparation for the birth of her daughter.

Lindsay Hubbard “took everything off the table” when she found out she was pregnant

Lindsay told Access Hollywood’s Housewives Nightcap that the reason she didn’t have her boyfriend move in was to prevent “more pressure” on the relationship.

“Obviously it’s a newer relationship,” she explained. “We’ve only been dating since January. I found out I was pregnant in April. So, I pretty much took everything off the table. Like, look I am not looking for a proposal. I’m not looking to get engaged. I’m not even thinking about marriage and I’m not even thinking about moving in together.”

The veteran Summer House star continued, “It’s working for us. And we live so close to each other in New York, literally within blocks. We’re on the same Avenue. And once the baby comes, I’m sure he’ll spend the night every single night because he’s obsessed with her and doesn’t want to, you know, miss anything. So when we’re ready when the timing is right in our relationship maybe we’ll move in together, maybe we’ll talk about marriage. But right now it’s working for us.”

The living situation is ideal for the duo. And Lindsay wouldn’t want to give up on the stunning, two-bedroom apartment, especially after renewing the lease for a lower price. In May, the Bravolebrity revealed her new living arrangement on the Bitch Bible podcast.

“My landlord and I worked out a deal where she actually reduced the rent, which never happens in New York,” Lindsay said at the time.

Last month, Lindsay shared the results of a little nesting she did at her place. She decided to put a day bed in the baby’s room, for practical reasons. One person who will be moving for sure once the baby arrives is the nurse.
