Bachelor Joey Graziadei to ‘Step Up’ Wedding Dance After DWTS Training

Joey Graziadei, who found love on Season 28 of The Bachelor with Kelsey Anderson, is trading in his rose. That’s right, ladies and gentlemen. Joey is going to slip on his dancing shoes and strut his stuff on Season 33 of Dancing with the Stars. And why let all these dancing tips go to waste? Joey is ready to level up and wow his wedding guests with a more ambitious wedding dance.

Joey Graziadei plans to dazzle with his and Kelsey Anderson’s wedding dance

Joey and his partner, Jenna Johnson, spoke with Extra about Joey joining DWTS. “This is a little bit more fun and exciting to do something new, to do it with someone new and not have to have everyone see me kiss other women and deal with being [in] a relationship,” Joey explained.

“I told him, like, ‘If you can date 32 women at one time, you can definitely do a little dance,’” Jenna joked. That is true! “This is more family-friendly, for sure. I’m excited,” Joey said. Meanwhile, Joey is looking forward to learning all the dances. “I’m really excited for the whole process,” he said.

But Joey’s new gig has an amazing side benefit. He and Kelsey will be learning some tips to elevate their wedding dance. “We’ve already talked about that. I think Val [Chmerkovskiy]’s going to teach Kelsey a little bit,” Joey said. Val is a seasoned DWTS pro and Jenna’s real-life husband. “I’m obviously getting a lot of training here, so I think we’re going to step up our wedding dance moving forward.” Sir, you had better after making that statement. Or you will never live it down after your nuptials.

And Joey isn’t the only Bachelor Nation alum competing in the ballroom this season. Bachelorette Jenn Tran and her pro partner Sasha Farber will also be vying to take home the Mirrorball trophy.

Season 33 of Dancing with the Stars airs on September 17 at 8/7c on ABC and Disney+.
