Alexis Bellino has surely made a splash with her return to Real Housewives of Orange County, and some fans are loving it – some fans are not. Her relationship with John Janssen has been shocking to everyone. Alexis isn’t letting anyone pop her love bubble, especially Shannon Beador and her past experience of being in a romantic relationship with John.
Alexis is full-speed ahead with John. Less than a year after making their relationship official, John popped the question to Alexis. Obviously, everyone in the RHOC fandom had an opinion about their very sudden engagement. One person who’s always good for some goofy commentary is Meghan King, one of RHOC’s most memorable alumni.
Meghan King and Alexis Bellino had some miscommunication
Despite being away from the RHOC cameras for several seasons, Meghan never shies away from commenting on the drama. She recently spoke with Us Weekly to give her opinion on Alexis and John’s engagement. “When I first found out they were together, I was initially a little bit apprehensive about the relationship,” Meghan said. “But when I saw she got engaged, I actually reached out to her and told her congratulations because she was really upset with me.”
Apparently, Alexis was mad that Meghan expressed apprehension about John, especially when it came to “love bombing.” Alexis allegedly thought that Meghan was just looking to use her name for press, so there were layers to this miscommunication. However, they’ve seemed to move past it in the present day. “She said, ‘Thank you so much,’” Meghan said of Alexis responding to her congratulations text. “And honestly, I just want her to be happy.” Alexis is thankful for anyone cheering on her relationship with John!
