Bravolebrities Craig Conover and Paige DeSorbo are the it couple of reality TV. They’ve been going strong for three years, but not without having to defend their relationship on multiple occasions.
Skeptics of the couple are questioning whether they will ever take the next step, with their long-distance status complicating further commitments. But both reality TV stars say that their relationship is stronger than ever.
Craig Conover and Paige DeSorbo are letting “things evolve organically”
During an exclusive interview with Life & Style, the Southern Charm star revealed the secret to making it work with Paige, and why they are such a “good match.” He said it’s critical that they are both reality TV stars.
“Being in the same industry helps,” the Sewing Down South founder explained. “I’ve dated people who weren’t on TV, and that’s fine, too, but it’s cool to experience this with Paige. There are probably less than 150 Bravo people out there.”
Being on reality TV means that some part of their interactions are filmed for the public to see. One such memorable moment was Craig discussing engagement during Season 7 of Summer House. The conversation brought Paige to tears, and not the happy kind.
“There’s a false sense of urgency that’s put onto you, and I was guilty of that, too,” he admitted. “We want to just let things evolve organically. We’re enjoying the life we’re living now.”
Paige echoed the sentiment during an interview in August. Now, the couple have put the idea on the back-burner. Craig has taken any timeline off the table. Originally, he was hoping to have a child by 40.
Despite this, both Craig and Paige are committed to their relationship, and are in it for the long haul. Whatever that ends up looking for them in the future remains to be seen. The Summer House star is unwilling to leave her life in New York, and Craig is tethered to Charleston via his company, Sewing Down South.
