Here’s an unlikely duo for you. Meghan McCain recently told Andy Cohen on his radio show that she and Erika Jayne are buddies. Yes, we know that’s a terrifying combination of blondes. Even scarier? They apparently text back and forth about politics. New nightmare unlocked.
Meghan McCain and Erika Jayne’s special little friendship
Meghan spilled about her friendship with the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star during a recent appearance on Sirius XM’s Andy Cohen Live. According to both Andy and Meghan, Erika is way more politically minded than the average person would assume.
“One of the Housewives I text most about politics is Erika,” Andy revealed. “I’m assuming you two are texting about politics. She’s super interested and up to date.”
“She is very, very savvy with politics,” Meghan replied. “‘[She’s] very well educated and really watches all the news shows and the Sunday shows. We talk about politics quite a bit about it.”
Meghan said her friendship with Erika gives her ‘street cred’
The gruesome twosome first met during an episode of Watch What Happens Live. It turned out to be a match made in heaven, and they’ve stayed in touch ever since. According to Meghan, their relationship extends beyond just yapping back and forth about politics.
“I just love her, and I think she’s such a kind person,” Meghan explained. “And another person it doesn’t matter how many people talk crap about me, she’ll stay my friend.”
Who knew Erika could be such a ride or die? When gushing over the RHOBH star, Meghan also talked about how she enjoys the clout that comes along with being friends with a notorious Bravoleb. There’s nothing more riveting than being loosely connected to Tom Girardi’s fraud scheme.
“I have a little bit of street cred, the fact that we’re actually friends,” Meghan admitted.
