Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor are divorcing. Color no one shocked, sadly. Divorces are tricky enough, but these two have an extra ugh factor, as they have to film through their messiness to ensure fat paychecks roll in for Season 2 of The Valley. Many aspects and assets still need to be considered, but as a child is involved, consider their divorce ante upped. One source, however, alleges that Britt does not want to share custody of her little boy with Jax.
If true, things might get messy. Quickly.
Custody sharing is not caring for Brittany Cartwright, alleges a source
Brittany and Jax are making headlines left and right. Most of their headlines involve their divorce. But newer ones discuss Jax, who often battles internally with his inner demons. Thankfully, Jax recently stepped up and checked into a facility, trying to overcome his toxic patterns.
When he emerged, Jax revealed he had Bipolar Disorder and PTSD. He then spoke about how this diagnosis was a lot to process, but ultimately, Jax is glad he knows. Jax is also happy to be home, stressing, “I’ve come home to my son with a newfound sense of peace.”
Cruz Cauchi is a precious lad, and it is clear that his daddy loves him. But will his daddy continue to have easy access to his life? According to one source, this answer might be a big fat no.
According to Life and Style, Brittany requested primary legal and physical custody of Cruz in her divorce filing. She also asked that Jax have visitation rights. But then an unknown source dropped in, spilling, “Brittany isn’t interested in sharing custody with Jax. She feels like she’s doing the lion’s share of the parenting, so there’s no reason she should give up 50 percent [of her] time with her son.”
This source further revealed that Brittany plans to stick to her beer cheese-loaded guns on this one since “Jax is always busy. He doesn’t have the lifestyle to be a parent, or at least that’s how Brittany sees it.” Jax’s business makes sense. He spends loads of time at Jax’s Studio City, his bar-within-a-bar-within-a-tent on Ventura Blvd.
Schedules aside, this trio has some bumpy roads ahead, and we wish them all well.
The Valley is streaming on Peacock.
