Meredith Marks went under the knife for a little cosmetic work recently. However, the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star wasn’t going in for a refresher. She was, in fact, dealing with the effects of an uncomfortable medical issue.
The Meredith Marks Caviar founder revealed the details during a recent interview. Additionally, it turns out that she may have to get subsequent surgeries if the undiagnosed condition continues.
Meredith Marks felt she was meant to be a “small C” cup
During an exclusive interview with Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea podcast to tease the Season 5 premiere, Meredith revealed that her chest continuously grows due to a “weird” medical condition.
“My breast tissue doesn’t stop growing!” Meredith shared.
“It’s wild. Seriously, I have this weird issue and I’m hoping this is [my final breast reduction],” she continued. “I never wanted to be that big.”
The RHOSLC favorite has not gotten a diagnosis. However, she recalled that her mother had the same issue so it must be “hormonal and genetic.”
“I mean, my mom started growing in her 40s and same kind of thing,” Meredith explained. “I just was too big to start.”
The Bravolebrity intuited that she “was always supposed to be a small C.” But became uncomfortable when she surpassed that cup-size.
“That’s a whole thing. When you have to go up two sizes to accommodate your chest, nothing sits right. It’s just not good … It’s weird,” Meredith said.
“Clothes are fitting better now,” she gushed of the practical and emotional benefits of getting a breast reduction.
Further, it seems that going under the knife is the only solution. Meredith would do it again if necessary, however she is hoping to avoid it in future.
“If I have to, I will,” she concluded. “Unless I want to look matronly.”
