Shannon Beador and her now ex-husband David Beador’s marriage devolved before our eyes on the Real Housewives of Orange County. Shannon moved on to a long-term relationship with John Janssen, and we all know how that turned out. David also started over, marrying Lesley Beador in 2020. Their marriage has been tumultuous as well.
Sadly, Lesley was granted a temporary domestic violence restraining order against David last week. She alleged that he had been verbally abusive in front of their children. Since Lesley’s filing also requested that David continue supporting their household financially, he accused Lesley of extortion.
Lesley Beador says David created a hostile environment for their children
According to court documents obtained by In Touch, Lesley requested the restraining order in an Orange County court on Tuesday, September 10. She asked that David be required to stay at least 100 yards away from her, her three children, and their two dogs.
Lesley and David share a three-year-old daughter, Anna Love Beador. Lesley also has two other children with her ex-husband, Eriks Pukke.
According to Lesley’s filing, David was verbally abusive to her in front of their kids. Her breaking point was when Eriks arrived to pick up his two children last Monday and David shouted “all kinds of obscenities at Eriks while he waited in his car with the window up.” It’s worth noting that Eriks has an active restraining order against David that he filed 2022.
She explained, “It was very scary. I recorded this whole incident and will provide the videos to the court. All my children are terrified by David’s behavior.” She also claimed that David sent her 59 “harassing texts” accusing her of cheating on him with Eriks.
Lesley added, “[David] truly needs help. He gets in an obsessive mania state…I never know when [David’s] next meltdown will be or how long they will last. These meltdowns…are nonstop, even when he is working and they cause me to live in fear and to worry about the effect on the children.”
Lesley also requested a TRO against David last year but dropped it.
David accused Lesley of attempting to extort him
Lesley’s filing asked for David to continue paying for their mortgage, utilities, her cell phone, Mercedes lease, childcare, and child/spousal support despite him being kicked out of the home.
Lesley explained, “I have no source of income from employment. Mr. Beador controls all the income and monies in our marriage. Mr. Beador has cut off all access to my credit cards.”
David believes that this was all a scheme concocted by Lesley and Eriks to extort and get a “rise” out of him.
David’s filing in response to Lesley’s in part read, “I believe this was a planned event to get a rise out of me and/or seek this order, as at that point, Lesley already advised me she would be filing for divorce. This is pure extortion and it is again what she is doing in this attempt. She is upset because I cancelled her credit card with unlimited spending. I am not required to sustain her lifestyle.”
David also said that their marriage issues began in 2022, and he had already filed for divorce three times, though each had been dismissed.
Looks like this time, David and Lesley’s nude hiking days are over for good.
