Dolores Catania Says She’s ‘Overdue’ More Ozempic After Summer Weight Gain

It’s time for some maintenence work. Dolores Catania revealed that she neglected to get her routine Ozempic shot, and is now scrambling to rectify the situation. The Real Housewives of New Jersey star enjoyed a summer of traveling. And weight gain. Dolores revealed in a recent interview that she’s hoping to drop those pesky pounds she gained over the summer.

“I am taking my shot tomorrow,” Dolores told Page Six Wednesday night. The RHONJ star was attending the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards. “I’m actually overdue and no, I’m not off it,” she added.

Dolores was overseas for the summer. She traveled to South Africa for conservation work, as well as Lisbon, Portugal for tourism. As a result, she did not have access to the popular weight loss drug.

“I just got back yesterday. I’m probably 20 pounds heavier than I was before I left,” the RHONJ star revealed. It’s time for an update shot, stat. Dolores quipped, “I better get back on it – quick!”

The Bravolebrity has been very transparent about using the Type 2 diabetes drug, first revealing being on the regimen in April of 2023.

“I feel good on it,” Dolores gushed. “I’ve done the research, spoke to so many doctors and I haven’t had one doctor personally say to me, ‘It’s bad for you.’”

Her beau, Paul Connell, also improved his health after taking Ozempic on a regular basis. The duo now support each other through an effective workout regime and health eating. As well as a boost from regular Ozempic shots.

“Paul lost 50 pounds and he’s not taking blood pressure medication anymore,” Dolores shared.

The duo making a stunning pair these days. Though, The Traitors star is still waiting for an engagement ring. At least Dolores and Paul can credit each other for supporting one another on their journey to better health.
