In 2004, I was a junior in high school sitting down to watch one of my favorite shows, The Challenge. Who knew I would have a lifelong crush on the Real World Paris star, CT Tamburello? The man was a unit. He was the Boston bad boy that I and so many other viewers couldn’t help but root for. The hothead often found himself in trouble due to his quick temper, but that was half of his appeal. He was MTV’s heartthrob, and every female viewer wanted a piece of him. But eighteen seasons, four disqualifications, and three wins later, CT is finally spoken for. And on behalf of all viewers, we are crushed.
Castle Daddy is off the market
CT took to his Instagram to share a reel with his new girlfriend, Catalina White Hager. In the background, Corey Hart’s Sunglasses At Night played. Catalina mouthed, “Since the cat’s outta the bag, do you wanna…you know?” The reel pans to CT, who makes a funny/sexy face as if he is about to get a real treat. Catalina finishes by saying, “Take some pictures.” The photos were 80s-themed and inspired. CT captioned his post by writing, “What are we doin’!? We pullin’ down the JC Penney Glamour Shot Custom Backdrop and makin’ sure we loud enough for the people in the back.”
The new couple wore matching black leather jackets as she jumped into his arms and straddled him. The photoshoot had a Miami Vice feel, and fans and cast members loved this fun side of CT. In another glamor shot, CT had his hair slicked back, and Catalina wore sunglasses and pink pants. Fans aren’t familiar with Catalina, but according to her Instagram, she is a dating content influencer who offers explicit content subscriptions.
CT in love
Even though some fans might be sad or envious of CT’s new relationship, most of us are very happy for him. CT has been through the wringer when it comes to love. For him, the journey has been more of a rollercoaster than a tunnel of love ride. CT’s first love story was with Diem Brown, whom he dated on and off before she died of cancer in 2014. A lot of their time together played out on the series, and it allowed CT to show a more loving side to him, proving he wasn’t just a beast. Viewers were crushed when Diem passed away, as it took a heavy toll on our champion.
CT found love again when he married Lilianet Solares. After four years of marriage, the couple filed for divorce, and CT was embroiled in a bitter battle that was only recently settled. While filming The Challenge: Double Agents, CT admitted in a confessional, “The last few seasons, I wasn’t in the best place mentally. Marriage was not going well. We’re separated, and I feel like I’ve been running from problems for a long time. I feel like they finally caught up with me. I couldn’t lie to myself anymore.”
CT is ready for the next chapter
Now that CT is officially taken, he seems happier than ever. Even some of his co-stars are noting his joy. Cara Maria Sorbello commented, “The pictures had me!” And former rival Wes Bergmann added, “Awwwww congrats on the launch, you goofy goofy man.” Cara Maria then added another comment hinting that she might have been Cupid. The MTV star wrote, “THIS MAKES ME SO HAPPY! I love cat for you. I AM THE BEST MATCHMAKERRR.” Paulie Calafiore, Cara Maira’s boyfriend, added, “This was so precious ? So happy for y’all!”
Fans know they may never see CT and Phaedra Parks embrace their sparks, but even though there was undeniable chemistry, we are at peace. The ship has sailed on our Castle Daddy fever dreams, and the MTV star is no longer an option to crush on. Well, scratch that. I’ll still enjoy watching him on my TV every week. CT is currently on The Challenge 40: Battle of the Eras and giving the rookies a run for their money. Fans can only hope that Catalina treats him well because our Castle Daddy deserves the best.
