When Alexis Bellino returned to Real Housewives of Orange County, having drama with Shannon Beador was inevitable. First off, Alexis’ new fiancé, John Janssen, is Shannon’s ex-boyfriend. Messy! Plus, Johnny J. was suing Shannon for $75,000. He claimed that the money was a loan for a facelift and other needs. According to Shannon, it was a gift after she paid John’s way. Well, the newbie member of the RHOC cast, Katie Ginella, is standing up for Alexis.
Katie Ginella says that Alexis Bellino is “a sweet person”
Alexis voiced her shock that her co-stars didn’t have her back amid all the online backlash. Many fans feel that Alexis was being cruel to Shannon by shoving her relationship with John in her face. And let’s not forget that Alexis told Katie about the Ring camera footage of Shannon from the night of her DUI. So, while Shannon is a vulnerable place after running into a house, Alexis is hell-bent on defending her man. You see, John popped the question after nine months of dating. So, Alexis has to protect his sterling reputation.
Recently, Katie was a guest on Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea podcast. And she wasted no time defending Alexis. However, Katie is trying to be friends with both Shannon and Alexis. Good luck with that!
“I really care for both of them. You know, I hate that right now on social media Alexis is getting attacked,” Katie explained. “Because I’ve said this to everyone. This summer my aunt, that was like a second mother, passed away. Three days later my father-in-law passed away. A month later we moved.”
She continued, “And other than Jen Pedranti, the only person that reached out, sent us flowers, offered to come over was Alexis.” It sounds like Alexis and Katie have an authentic relationship.
“She is a sweet person to her core. She really is. And I know she’s coming in a little hot, you know?” Katie remarked. “But she really is a good person.”
