Ranking the RHOSLC Housewives Based on Their Social Media

Can you feel it? The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City is so close to airing it’s giving me the chills. Even though no snowflakes are currently falling around me, I can’t wait to welcome back the ladies from Utah into my living room. As the newest season prepares to make a splash, I started to wonder which of the women was most popular among the fans. Personally, I’m ride or die for Angie Katsanevas as the Greek goddess can do no wrong. But what do other viewers think? Let’s take a look.

Heather Gay has unbeatable numbers on RHOSLC

With 576,000 Instagram followers, it will be hard to compete with Heather Gay. If you were to go to X, you would find that she has 115,600 followers who care about what she has to say. Even when you put in a simple Google search for Heather, only the best moments pop up. Along with a few memes, Heather’s famous quote, “RECEIPTS. PROOF. TIMELINE. SCREENSHOTS” pops up. Real Housewives of Salt Lake City fans will remember that Heather was the one who cracked open Monica Garcia’s secret, that she was the online troll. It also helps that Heather is a published author. Her Bad Mormon book sold out everywhere there was a Real Housewives fan, and became a New York Times Best Seller. However, perhaps the most remarkable thing about Heather is that Rihanna follows her on social media.

Meredith Marks is not about to leave the party on RHOSLC

If I know one thing about Meredith Marks, it is that she was cool before it was cool. She has style and flare, and that’s how she became a fan favorite—or one of them, at least. With 576,000 Instagram followers, she has amassed a collection of fans. She boasts multiple Real Housewives followers as well as some well-known fashion houses. Meredith has also become popular thanks to her jewelry line, which is made of the most perfect gemstones.

Meredith won over fans thanks to her easygoing parenting and love of family. Last season, her outbursts, which targeted almost every cast member, helped attract viewers. One thing is for sure: You can always count on Meredith to keep everyone in line.

Whitney Rose is the wild child no one saw coming on RHOSLC

Now, Whitney Rose is a hit or miss for me. Some days, she is spot-on with her analysis, but I think producers push her to make a scene at other times. But with 460,000 followers, you can’t argue with numbers. Viewers seem to love Whitney and everything she brings to the table. Season 4 showed her blossoming in her business but struggling within her marriage. Her issues were real, and they resonated with followers who often left positive affirmations on her social media.

Whitney is an OG housewife and has seen it all from day one. However, technically, I don’t think she is a fan favorite. She has stirred the pot a bit too much and has fans feeling like she can’t always be trusted.

Monica Garcia may be gone, but she isn’t forgotten

Monica Garcia should have been able to return to RHOSLC.

Monica single-handedly made Season 4 of RHOSLC a banger. The disgraced Mormon was dramatic with a capital D. She befriended all the women even though she was an alleged informant for the FBI. And even though she is no longer a staple of the franchise, she comes in second for the most popular snowflake. With 442,000 followers under her belt, she could have a little online army if she desired. The one-hit wonder was pushed into second place after it was revealed she was the @realityvontease, the online account that haunted the rest of the women.

Monica also boasts 19,370 followers on X, where she was known to go off on her co-stars. Even though she won’t be returning for Season 5, fans have already admitted they will miss her messy drama since she added so much flair to the last season.

Lisa Barlow is holding strong in the middle

Our baby gorgeous herself is holding on to a top placement with 385,244 followers on Instagram. When it comes to X, she has 135,600 fans following her. Lisa Barlow has been in the press lately for a couple of lawsuits that have accused her of not paying her outstanding loans. But the housewife has denied ever defaulting on a payment. Lisa’s tequila brand, Vida Tequila, also helps drive her popularity. But I think her ad revenue from collaborating with fast food chains makes her one of the most popular RHOSLC stars.

Wendy’s has been her number-one supporter for multiple seasons, with fans seeing her face in advertisements. Season 5’s sneak peek showed Lisa again arguing with some of the women. Fans love to tune in to see who she will go off on next.

Lock up and throw away the key on Jen Shah

With only 235,000 followers on Instagram, Jen Shah isn’t the shining star she used to be. After her fall from grace and run from the authorities, the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City fans were not exactly shocked to hear the Bravo star had been arrested. Jen was found guilty of conspiracy to commit wire fraud. But even after all her evil doings, Jen remains quite popular in her own right, even without access to the internet. Since being put behind bars, Jen’s husband has been keeping fans up to date with random day-in-the-life posts. Part of Jen’s popularity came from fans searching online about her prison sentence, which is six and a half years. Fans won’t forget what Jen once brought to the table, as she was the most exciting star to watch for multiple seasons.

Mary Cosby is struggling in the popularity department on RHOSLC

Mary Cosby only has 145k followers on social media.

It isn’t surprising to me that Mary Cosby only has 145,000 followers. For one, she hasn’t always been a full-time housewife. She ditched going to the Season 2 reunion, which left everyone with a bad taste in her mouth. She has had some search engine traffic thanks to allegations that she runs a cult and stole money from her church to fund her lavish lifestyle. Even though Mary is back to full-time capacity on the newest season of the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, viewers aren’t expecting much from her. In Season 4, she refused to participate in the activities and was quite the bore.

RHOSLC can be streamed on Peacock.
