Katie Ginella’s debut season of Real Housewives of Orange County hasn’t been smooth sailing. She found herself going head-to-head with Heather Dubrow, and anyone knows that’s the worst enemy to have. It doesn’t matter if you’re a veteran star or the new kid on the block – Heather is a worthy opponent that’s hard to beat.
Katie came onto the show as a friend of Gina Kirschenheiter, but the Fancy Pants paparazzi drama ruined that pretty quickly. Sure, Katie hasn’t been one to hold back during her first RHOC season, which is a good quality of any Real Housewives star. However, it leaves fans wondering whether or not the newbie can handle another round of the show with her new group of “friends.”
Katie Ginella is playing it by ear
The latest RHOC orange holder recently spoke with Decider about her debut season. Of course, she unpacked the paparazzi drama with Heather, but it’s safe to say that every RHOC fan is sick of hearing about it.
Katie admitted it’s “been a little daunting” joining RHOC. As a result, she is currently still unsure of whether or not Season 19 is in her future. “I think I want to get through the rest of the season, watching and filming the reunion, and then make a decision,” Katie said. “I don’t know. I’m kind of 50/50 right now.” Now that’s some bluntness. Heather is probably hoping she can forget Katie as quickly as she was annoyed by her. However, it’s clear that Katie isn’t one to shy away from jumping head-first into the drama.
