Well, it looks like David Beador is headed for another divorce. The ex-husband of Real Housewives of Orange County star Shannon Beador just got slapped with divorce papers by his latest wife, Lesley Beador. The two of them have had a contentious relationship for years, but now, she’s trying to drop his last name altogether.
Another Beador divorce
News of Lesley and David’s breakup has been a long time coming. They’ve been flirting with divorce for years. David already tried to divorce this lady, but they managed to reconcile before going through with it.
Trouble started arising again with David and Lesley over the last few weeks. She filed a request for a domestic violence restraining order against him, claiming that he had been verbally abusive. He denied it all and hit back with accusations of extortion.
Now, according to In Touch, Lesley slapped David with new divorce papers on September 17, just days after the restraining order request. She listed the date of the marriage as October 15, 2020, and said they separated earlier this month on September 8.
The two share a 3-year-old daughter named Anna Love Beador. In the divorce papers, Lesley demanded primary legal and physical custody. She also wants spousal support. Then, once everything is said and done, she wants to lose the Beador name and go back to her original surname of Cook.
David responded to Lesley’s petition
Since David had already tried filing for divorce from Lesley in the past, he immediately responded to Lesley’s petition. Literally, the next day he hit back with his side. You know his lawyers love it when they see him calling.
According to David, he and Lesley didn’t break up until September 17. It’s about a week after she claimed, which apparently is going to make a world of difference for David. He also disagreed with her custody arrangement. He asked for joint legal and physical custody.
David’s response also clarified that the two of them had a prenuptial agreement. He’s asking for the courts to abide by the agreement, which would see Lesley getting $10,000 per month in support. Coincidentally, that’s the same amount he has to pay to Shannon each month after their divorce. The only difference is that he and Shannon were together four times longer and shared three kids.
