The floor show is about to begin! We are just days away from the Season 6 premiere of The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula. The monsters in charge just dropped a trailer for the upcoming season, and it looks like they weren’t exaggerating when they said this would be the biggest, bloodiest season yet.
Dragula Season 6 trailer teases blood, guts, and drag
In the Hollywood-themed trailer for Dragula Season 6, the Boulets gave us a glimpse at the twelve performers competing for the title of World’s Next Drag Supermonster. Throughout ten episodes, the Boulets will push them to their limits and challenge their creativity.
“They’ll sing, they’ll dance, and some might just drop dead from the pressure,” the Boulets teased in the trailer.
While we’re hopeful that no one actually drops dead, the pressure does seem to catch up to a few of these contestants. In the three-minute trailer, we get a glimpse at a countless number of tantrums getting thrown. According to Dracmorda, this group of contestants weren’t worried about “fans’ potential reactions,” and that shows in the trailer.
Just like in previous seasons, the performers will be challenged to wild physical feats, in addition to delivering next-level drag. In the trailer, it looks like one person gets dropped out of a plane, and of course, someone’s going to have to get a tattoo.
The trailer also gave us a look at all of the previously announced guest judges that will be gracing the stage. They’ve got everyone from horror icons like Jennifer Tilly to RuPaul’s Drag Race winners and more. The Boulets are checking all of the boxes to make sure that Season 6 sends a shiver up your spine.
The competition starts with a supersized episode on Tuesday, October 1. Hour-long episodes debut every Tuesday after that on Shudder and AMC+.
