Real Housewives of Miami star Lisa Hochstein recently shared the sad news her father, Roger, passed away. The philanthropist and businesswoman has had a rough go as of late. She’s had a tumultuous divorce process with Lenny Hochstein for the past several years. This toxicity then spilled over into her friendships on the show. She found herself alone last season when the group got fed up with constantly hearing about her trials and tribulations with Lenny. It hasn’t been easy for her. And now, sadly, Lisa is grieving the loss of her father.
Lisa Hochstein wrote on Instagram about her father’s passing, “RIP DADDY”
Lisa took to Instagram and shared a photo and video montage honoring her father. She posted the simple message “RIP DADDY” to go along with the pictures and videos. There were several sweet photos of Lisa as a young girl posing with her father, including a cute pic of him holding her sleeping during her christening ceremony.
She also posted more recent photos of her father with her children, Logan and Elle. They can be seen cuddled up on Grandpa’s lap or running around the park with him. In one video, Lisa asked her daughter, “You love grandma and grandpa? You wanna stay with him?” Elle nodded and said, “I want to stay with both.”
Lisa did receive some comforting responses to her post. Her costar, Guerdy Abraira wrote, “Oh no my love I’m so sorry.” Lisa’s boyfriend of two years, Jody Glidden, also shared his love and support.
Jody wrote, “It was easy to tell from his friends’ messages and how happy he was this summer that he was beyond proud of you. I know how crushing this past couple of years have been for you but you truly have grown into such an amazing new version of yourself that your kids will be proud of someday.”
With RHOM Season 7 now filming, Lisa will have a lot of emotions to process on the show. The loss of her father and her ongoing divorce battle will definitely be emotionally draining.
Real Housewives of Miami is streaming on Peacock.
