Designer Christian Siriano made his debut as a former Project Runway winner. However, he is not singing the praises of one fellow group of reality TV stars.
Christian has dressed the likes of A-listers, but the fashion designer was repeatedly disrespected by Real Housewives. And during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live, Christian revealed that they often do not pay up.
Only one of the Real Housewives is a client
Now, Christian simply refuses to dress Bravolebrities like Real Housewives because “they don’t pay.”
During the September 30 episode of WWHL, Andy Cohen asked his guest if he had worked with any of the stars of the Bravo network. Christian replied that he simply refuses to dress Real Housewives because “they don’t pay.”
“I mean, ever? Maybe. But listen, they’re not on my list because, one, they don’t pay,” Christian revealed.
“They don’t!” he repeated after the audience exclaimed in shock.
However, there is one client that the designer accepted from the Real Housewives. That is Bronwyn Newport from Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.
Bronwyn may be on her freshman season of reality TV, but she has a long history of spending established money on couture.
“But my newest Housewife, Bronwyn [Newport], is like my number one customer,” Christian explained. “[She] has been shopping for years and spends real money and not The Real Housewives money. I mean, I make her literally couture. All her confessionals are Siriano pieces.”
“Really?” Andy said. “Then maybe Housewives do pay?”
“One! And she’s new!” the fashion designer responded.
Bronwyn certainly made waves with her fashion already on RHOSLC. She made her debut in a giant, red heart-shaped fur jacket by Saint Laurent. Fellow newbie and RHOSLC friend Britani Bateman made the faux pas of calling the whimsical piece a costume.
That entrance made RHOSLC history. And fans will have to keep an eye out for Bronwyn’s confessional looks, courtesy of Christian.
