The Sister Wives dynamics remain ever-changing, most recently between Robyn and Christine Brown. As one might imagine, the titular wives feel some tension between themselves. It doesn’t help that each wife has their own unique relationship with Kody Brown.
Despite what the show’s name would imply, the only remaining wife is Robyn. Of course, rumor has it that a Robyn/Kody split is inevitable. The fact that the pair just sold their house may be a sign of things to come.
Nevertheless, no matter the current relationship between Kody and Robyn, awkwardness will remain. One can only imagine what living in a polygamist marriage is truly like. Naturally, women in Robyn and Christine’s situation would feel a certain way toward each other.
Why Robyn showed up to the birth of Christine Brown’s grandchildren
On the September 29 episode of Sister Wives, fans saw Christine stand by her daughter, Mykelti, during the latter’s c-section. But it wasn’t just Christine by Mykelti’s side for the birth of her twins. Robyn was there for Christine’s daughter too. “All of Robyn’s kids love Mykelti. She puts a lot on herself,” Christine said in a confessional.
“She puts a lot of all of this on herself about bringing the family together and having it be her role because she gets along great with Robyn and she gets along great with me.” Christine added, “Kody and Robyn are grandparents to Avalon, and they’ll be grandparents for the twins.”
On a more personal note, Christine said, “Having Robyn there, to me, just showed that I don’t know how long it’s going to take for all of us to get back together again and be okay in each other’s presence.” She added, “It was awkward. And it’s going to be awkward for a while.”
For her part, Robyn said, “It’s crazy because people think when they get…when they split, when they divorce or whatever, that they won’t have to see each other, and that’s not true.” Robyn also explained, “You’ll always be in each other’s lives somehow or another.”
