Fashion has always been a huge part of Real Housewives. And thanks to the addition of Rebecca Minkoff, the cast of Real Housewives of New York just for more fashionable. Well, in theory.
The fashion designer, who founded her line in 2005, joined Season 15 of the rebooted franchise as a “friend of.” But her part-time status as a housewife still comes with full-time shade. In the Season 15 teaser, castmate Brynn Whitfield is shown making a big ole dig at Rebecca’s line.
So how did the fashionista respond to the snide remark? “Can you believe it, girls?” With grace and vulnerability, which fans aren’t exactly used to seeing. Read on to find out what she said.

Rebecca recently spoke with DECIDER about her RHONY experience and that scene quickly came up. ICYMI, Brynn snarked that Rebecca’s line could be found at Nordstrom Rack, which is the retailer’s discount store.
“I think that my response – and I said this to her – I said, ‘You know, that hurt, that felt below the belt. And I hope we can build a relationship past this and I can trust you,’” Rebecca shared.
Despite that, Rebecca still called Brynn “sweet.”
As far as her brand goes, the Bravo newbie revealed how she has managed to be successful for almost 20 years. “It’s being humble and grateful. And I think it’s about knowing that there are so many bumps in the road, but you keep your eye on that North Star,” Rebecca stated.
So what does the businesswoman have to spill about this season of RHONY?
“We had a lot of fun playing pranks on each other. And, it makes it really entertaining. And I’m sure it’ll be dragged out so you’ll never know who’s playing what,” Rebecca said. “But we had a lot of fun with that.”
