Gina Kirschenheiter’s Boyfriend Travis Mullen Accuses Ex-Wife of ‘Threatening’ Them and Creating ‘Dangerous Environment’

On Season 18 of the Real Housewives of Orange County, we’ve watched Gina Kirschenheiter and Travis Mullen struggle through their complicated relationship. The cameras rolled as the two of them made the difficult decision to move into separate homes, all while they swore that their relationship was solid.

Meanwhile, we knew that Travis and his ex-wife, Meghan Mullen had been navigating a contentious co-parenting situation. He filed for a temporary restraining order last year. What we didn’t know is just how intense the allegations against Meghan were, and it’s starting to make a lot more sense why Travis and Gina’s relationship seems strained. The two of them endured a lot behind the scenes.

Although Travis dropped the temporary restraining order earlier this year, The Sun obtained the court documents from the initial filing, illustrating the full timeline of what happened. In the complaint, Travis laid out several serious complaints against his ex-wife. He claimed that she threatened them, created a “dangerous environment,” and even threatened suicide on her Instagram.

The court records have screenshots of Meghan’s Instagram posts from August 14, 2023. In one post, she called Gina and Travis “covert narcissists” and accused them of using their children as “pawns” to control her. To make things worse, she tagged Bravo in the post, as if they had any say in this.

“Broadly summarizing, these Instagram posts insinuated that Meghan was going to kill herself, called out Gina and me by our names, make various disparaging and untrue comments about me and Gina, and state that Gina and I are abusing Meghan/my children,” Travis claimed in the court docs.

Based on Meghan’s behavior, a judge granted Travis a temporary restraining order that covered him, his three kids, and Gina. However, Meghan allegedly violated that order and continued harassing them. Travis said that he “feared for the safety” of himself and his children.

At one point, Travis said he spotted Meghan sitting outside of his house in a car with tinted windows. He called the cops and they arrested her for violating the restraining order, but she later got out on bail.

Travis explained, “She has also threatened me and my family and has engaged in a campaign of harassment, unwanted contact, attempted extortion, and threats if I do not comply with her demands.”

While Gina filmed Season 18 of RHOC, Travis and Meghan went back and forth in court over custody of their children. You’d never know it from watching the show. All we really saw was Gina and Travis moving out of their shared space.

In April 2024, Gina finished filming Season 18 and coincidentally, Travis dropped the restraining order against Meghan. They finally came to an agreement, which allowed him to have Meghan drug tested upon request. The agreement detailed that a failed drug test would result in the termination of Meghan’s physical custody of the kids. For now, their drama seems to be on pause.

The Real Housewives of Orange County continues on Bravo, Thursdays at 9/8c.
