Jessel Taank shared her IVF journey on her freshman season of Real Housewives of New York last year. It was a struggle physically and emotionally, and one that the Bravolebrity was very honest about.
She and husband, Pavit Randhawa, are parents to twins Kai and Rio. And on the season premiere of Season 15 on October 1, they discussed whether or not to use one of their embryos and expand their brood. The matter was left seemingly undecided.
Jessel Taank teases that fans will see her and Pavit “navigate what that journey looks like”
But in a recent interview, Jessel exclusively told People that the physical challenges of getting pregnant through IVF change the whole perspective of the conversation.
“I think the conversation is really not easy because I have to go through the motions of IVFs to conceive,” she said.
“I wish it was easier for me, but it isn’t. And so sort of conversations surrounding having another baby, it just comes with a lot of [effort] because I just can’t get drunk and get knocked up naturally,” Jessel shared.
The excitement of potentially having another baby is overshadowed by the very challenging process. The fashion consultant wished for a more natural manner to get pregnant.
The Bravolebrity added, “So as much as I wish I could because it would make this so much easier, you’ll see us navigate what that journey looks like and what that path looks like.”
However, the thought of “another Jessel” is very tempting for the reality TV star. She said how “cute” it would be “for a baby girl.”
The couple have different thought processes when it comes to making the decision. Jessel revealed that Pavit thinks in more practical terms.
“Pavit’s a really simple human being, and what it comes down to is the financials and the logistics,” she explained. “So it’s like buying an extra airplane ticket, or having to buy an extra hotel room.”
“It’s like how much money is it going to cost and can we afford it and do we need to do it?” the fashion publicist added. “So I think he’s hesitant. And it’s also a lot of work.”
