Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright are divorcing, as we all know. Their problems played out for years on Vanderpump Rules. But when they emerged again on The Valley during Season 1, the writing was all over their farmhouse-styled walls. As they sort through their lives as one, to divide and conquer as two, Jax has found refuge in an unlikely source via his former VPR frenemy turned current BFF, Tom Sandoval.

Currently, Jax and Brittany are keeping their podcast. However, they are no longer filming their episodes as a team. This week, Jax has custody of When Reality Hits. While Jax was hosting and answering his listener’s questions, Tom’s name sounded, and after years of toxic, fight-you-shirtless-in-a strip-mall blood, Jax now has nothing but positive remarks for his former Pump Rules star.
When asked if Tom had reached out to him, Jax said yes and then some. “Actually, Tom Sandoval has reached out to me more than anybody. I know people are going to be shocked by that,” he began, adding, “[He was] just checking on me [and] I was shocked because I [hadn’t] heard from Tom in a long time, and now I probably talk to Tom three or four times a week.”
These two have been hanging out quite a bit as of late. “He comes to the bar. He sings karaoke. You know, he’s on tour right now, but I just hung out with him and his mom and his dad, and it was just great to see him,” Jax further explained.
“I love Tom, and I will always love him no matter what he does,” an equally tarnished in the press Jax admitted. “He’s my best friend, along with Tom Schwartz. They’re both my best friends.”
Jax is not wrong. But if this means that yet another VPR star will soon film on The Valley, I might have to sigh (while still watching) as this messy divorce further unfolds.
