It’s that time again. DANI just unleashed another round of chaos on the players of The Anonymous, and the game just got spicier than ever. The players are anxiously racing towards the finish line, but a few more people have to go up on the chopping block before they get there.

Last week, DANI caught everyone off guard by forcing the safe players into a last-minute game of face-off. No one is ever really safe in this game. By the end, Marcel, Bismah, Dillian, and Chris were all up for elimination with their fate determined by someone who has almost certainly been lying to their faces. Here’s how it all played out on The Anonymous Episode 10, “Refresh. Revamp. Restrategize.”

Bye-bye, Bismah

Last week, we saw Dillian go into “silent mode” after being nominated by a majority of the house. He refused to talk to anyone, but when he finally did, he dragged them all for being stale, dusty, and crusty. Those were his words, not ours.

While you have to appreciate his dedication to making entertaining TV, it seemed like the writing was on the wall for him to get the chop. However, fate was on his side. DANI announced that Bismah aka Eagle, had been selected for elimination. Another one bites the dust.

In a flashback, it’s revealed that Nina won the power of The Anonymous for a second time. She’s on a roll, and she explained the decision to cut Bismah. It was simple — out of everyone else up for elimination, Bismah was who she was the least close to. It’s business.

Back at the dial, Bismah shocked the group when she revealed her real-life job as a political lobbyist. It’s not every day that you meet one of those, but it makes sense why she navigated the game so slickly. This was probably nothing compared to Washington D.C.

After DANI dismissed the players from the dial, they all went back to their fancy little house to decompress from Bismah’s elimination. The aftermath wasn’t quite as dramatic as when Jack got eliminated, but the paranoia was still high. Within minutes, they all started throwing out theories about who had the power this week, all while chowing down on pizza.

Andy and Christopher guessed that Lilly was behind the latest elimination. For some reason, they’ve convinced themselves that she’s a force to be reckoned with, so they’ve nicknamed her The Grim Reaper.

Elsewhere in the house, Nina was doing what she does best: planting seeds of confusion in everyone’s heads. For example, she told Lilly that perhaps Chris or Victoria were responsible for the elimination. She even suggested that Dillian might be the one with the power to eliminate, all while knowing damn well that she had blood on her hands.

“This isn’t the game of friends and ‘Let me save you,'” Nina explained in a confessional. “This is The Anonymous, and you need to let people dig their own graves.”

The next day, DANI gave them a new opportunity to do just that. Before kicking off their next challenge, she revealed that they would have their third and final handle refresh. That’s major.

An interior design nightmare

Before the handle refresh, DANI gave the players another chance to add more money to the pot this week. They need it. They’re barely even halfway to building up the $100,000 prize pot.

Fortunately for them, DANI’s latest puzzle didn’t involve any weird math equations, and they didn’t have to stack a tower of puzzle pieces. Instead, they were presented with a bunch of little knick-knacks, which looked straight out of a display table from IKEA. Both Andy and Dillian said the challenge made them feel like they were doing “interior design.” For that reason, we’re just going to call this one the interior design puzzle.

DANI explained the rules: she had a secret sequence that the puzzle pieces had to follow. As a collective, the players had multiple attempts to guess the sequence, and if they completed it, one player would win safety and they’d get $10,000 into the prize pot. It seemed doable, but then DANI added a twist because that’s her job.

“Every time a player matches a new object to its correct placement, they must choose a player to remove from the challenge,” she explained after the puzzle started.

Andy wound up being the first person to win that privilege. He matched three objects in their correct places and chose to block Dillian, Victoria, and Lilly. Then, the remaining players went right back to trying to piece together the sequence.

Somehow, the puzzle got more and more difficult as they progressed. It’s the opposite of how a puzzle like this should work. However, in their final attempt with seconds to go, Andy, Nina, and Chris miraculously cracked the code and landed $10,000 in their bank. DANI Confirmed that Nina won safety because she had the most correct placements.

So, not only did Nina win the power of The Anonymous this week, but she also won safety from elimination. It’s a good week to be Nina.

New handle, who’s this?

After banking all of that cash, DANI sent the players into Anonymous Mode to select their new handles. Clearly, this has the potential to be a major turning point in the game, but the players had mixed feelings. Some folks saw it as an exciting opportunity to restrategize, while others felt scared about undoing all of their progress. Plus, some folks were probably traumatized from the last handle refresh when DANI also brought in three new players. Thankfully, that didn’t happen this time. There’s already enough going on, right? Here’s a look at everyone’s new handles.

  • Dillian: Sushi
  • Andy: Banana
  • Lilly: Rainbow
  • Nina: Wolf
  • Christopher: Tea
  • Marcel: Crown
  • Victoria: Ghost

With their new handles activated, the players immediately dove into a messy chat session. Within seconds, they just started throwing names out into the ether. Should Dillian go home because of his drama, or perhaps they should eliminate Marcel because he’s so good at face-off, which could be the deciding factor for the grand prize?

Once the votes started rolling in, the nominations seemed to catch everyone by surprise because they didn’t match what they talked about in the chat. It ended up being Lilly, Chris, Andy, and Dillian up for elimination.

Chris and Victoria’s showmance gets real

This week, Christopher and Victoria’s relationship continued to dominate the storyline. We’ve been watching week after week the other players have attempted to target them, but it never pans out. Part of that is because Victoria has been secretly winning the power to eliminate.

Although it initially seemed as if like Victoria was just using Christopher as a convenient accessory to her strategy, she claimed this week that their romance is more than just strategy. Allegedly, she really likes him and isn’t just “using him.” From her mouth to God’s ear.

With that said, she also made it clear that she wouldn’t choose Chris over the money. If it comes down to the $100,000, she’s picking the cash. By the end of the episode, it seemed like that choice might be coming sooner than she thought.

As DANI revealed the results of the test, she showed that either Victoria or Christopher won the power of The Anonymous. If she wins a third time, Christopher’s fate in the game will be back in her hands. How romantic!

The Anonymous airs on USA Network on Monday nights at 10/9c.
