Andy Cohen Teases RHOC Season 18 Reunion: ‘People Will Be Surprised’

Andy Cohen had quite the time filming the Real Housewives of Orange County Season 18 reunion. He even went as far as to say that viewers would be surprised by his reactions.

RHOC Season 18 has been a hotbed for drama. The main culprits are Shannon Beador and Tamra Judge, with Alexis Bellino as the often unexpected catalyst. Some viewers have had it with Tamra and Alexis at this point.

However, if the Season 18 reunion truly is full of surprises, perhaps the OC Housewives could turn things around. Highly unlikely, yes. Still, Andy teased a reunion that few might be expecting.

Andy Cohen teases a “heated” RHOC finale and “calm” reunion

On a recent episode of SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live, the host teased the recently-filmed reunion. “On Sunday, we did our, I don’t know when we’ve ever shot a reunion on Sunday. It just so happened that that was the day that we could all do it. I guess we did shoot the OC reunion on Sunday. It was a very, we did what we had to do. I think people will be surprised.”

“I think people will be surprised by what I liked. It was very calm. We worked through a lot of things, but it wasn’t people ripping each other’s faces off.” Andy said that once fans saw the Season 18 finale, the reunion’s calm nature would make more sense. Andy asserted that “the last few episodes of Orange County” got “especially heated,” thus prompting a calmer reunion.

However, Andy didn’t mean to say that the entire reunion was all making up and kumbaya. It had its moments of contention. As he explained, “I have to say, Alexis, Jesus Jugs, was there for part of it. That was not calm, that was not calm. That was very … it was a lot.” As for how it will all shake out, only time will tell.

Meanwhile, Real Housewives of Orange County continues Thursdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
