Daisy Kelliher ‘Didn’t Want to Work’ With Gary King on Below Deck Sailing Yacht

Daisy Kelliher and Gary King are setting sail on Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5. However, during Season 4, these two were at odds. To explain, Daisy and Gary often enjoyed a flirtatious friendship, but when Daisy chose Colin MacRae, Gary hated it. Daisy and Colin parted ways post-filming, as the Season 4 reunion showed. But this left Daisy feeling anxious, as she did not want to return to filming alongside Gary.

BDSY Season 5 is now airing, and as Episode 1 proved, Daisy came in hot. Thankfully, for the sake of all onboard, she and Gary made peace by the end of this first showing. Even still, her emotions were all over the map. We now know why, courtesy of her latest interview with E! News.

“We had filmed the reunion three days prior to starting [the new season],” Daisy began, adding, “The reunion created a lot of tension, so that’s why we went in so heated. It’s hard looking back on that because I was so angry after the reunion and the way I was treated. For some reason, I was the bad guy in the reunion, and I never really understood that,” she lamented.

“Those first three days, I didn’t want to work with him,” Daisy expressed. “Walking onto the boat, my attitude and my mind frame shifted quite drastically, which was a real shame because I would hate to have walked onto Parsifal with any sort of negativity,” she noted.

But then, after a tear-filled chat, these two found peace.

“I’m not somebody to hold a grudge, and I don’t like holding on to anger,” Daisy stated. Following their chat, Daisy is now “fine with Gary. We’re not the best of friends. We live very separate lives. But I’ve got no issues with him,” she ended (for now).

As Season 5 airs, we will see this healing journey play out. But will we ever see Colin back on BDSY? Only time will tell.
