Darius was born in Horn Lake, Missouri, on January 17, 1996. He attended college at Mid Tennessee State University, where he played football. In 2019, the linebacker was drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs.
Darius has been in the NFL for five seasons now. He played for the Chiefs for the majority of those seasons. In August 2023, he briefly signed with the Las Vegas Raiders practice squad, before returning to the Chiefs in October. In January 2024, Darius won his third Super Bowl.
