Tonight’s episode of Survivor 47 was electric. Idols were uncovered, a vote was stolen, and a devastating blindside ended one player’s game. If you missed the episode, don’t worry, we’ll get you caught up.

Here is everything that happened in Episode 4 of Survivor 47…

The Survivor 47 tribes recover

Tonight’s episode of Survivor began with the Lavo tribe recovering from Tribal Council. Aysha’s torch was snuffed last week after her plan to flip the vote failed. Further, Sol narrowly escaped elimination. He knows he’s at the bottom of the tribe and is determined to know who tried to vote him off the Island. Teeny comes clean to him, revealing she was one of the votes cast against him. In a confessional, she shares that her emotions got the best of her and she couldn’t bring herself to write down Aysha’s name. Normally, I would criticize a player for letting their emotions cloud their game, but keeping Aysha would have been beneficial for Teeny’s game, so she gets a pass.

Over at Gata, a new alliance is forming. Anika, Rachel, and Sierra form The Bread Winner alliance and vow to have each other’s back in the game. I worry about Sierra with this alliance. I hope she knows she’s at the bottom and keeps Sam in her back pocket. Anika and Rachel are a duo. If they persuade her to vote out Sam, she’s doomed.

Meanwhile, Gabe is being ageist over at Tuku. He keeps lamenting about how Sue tells him everything and how he came into the game wanting to work with an “older woman.” Translation: He sees her as a Goat that he can drag along to the end because no one will vote for her in the end. He’s severely underestimating her.

Sue tells Gabe and Kyle she is 45 when she is actually 59. Gabe and Kyle are amazed that a 45-year-old woman can play Survivor. They can’t believe she can walk without a cane. Cue eye-roll.

The search for the hidden Immunity Idols on Survivor

Sue knows the Tuku boys don’t respect her game, so she goes looking for an Idol to secure her place in the tribe. She does find one but the discovery is far from seamless. She accidentally spills red paint everywhere while uncovering the Idol. Sue, come on girl. She tries to clean it up but is unsuccessful because when she returns to camp Tiyana is like, “Hey girlie. Is that blood in your hair?” She makes up some crazy story about hurting herself while using the machete but Tiyana is super sus of her. Despite the messiness, Sue managed to find an Immunity Idol that doesn’t expire until the final 5. That’s huge.

The Lavo tribe is also searching for Idols. Rome used his Idol last week and usually, that means a replacement Idol is back up for grabs. Sol, knowing he is in danger, is on the hunt for the Idol. Rome is following him around like a middle school bully. He keeps nagging him and refusing to leave him alone. So annoying. Genevieve sees what is going on and tries to give Sol a pep talk. Although she is working with Rome, she knows he’s a loose cannon and is entertaining working with Sol instead.

The Andy being bad at Survivor saga continues

Andy has made a lot of bad moves this season but leaving his Shot In the Dark in plain sight may take the cake. His tribe makes fun of him for this (obviously) and Sam calls him the George Costanza of Survivor. Brutal.

Sierra tells Andy about The Breadwinner alliance. Reader, you may be wondering why she does this. I have the same question. He, of course, tells Sierra’s number one ally, Sam, who is super sussed out that she made a side alliance and didn’t tell him.

Andy’s Shot In the Dark blunder reminds Sierra of what a messy player he is and she is having reservations about playing with him. She wants him out next. She expresses this desire to Sam who is not having it. He reminds her that he is a number for his side and is also like, “Hey, what is this about you secretly working with the girls?” Sierra says the alliance isn’t real and reassures him that he is her priority.

I think Sierra is misguided to target Andy. Sure, he’s not a great player, but he’s on her side. If she was smart, she would try and break up Anika and Rachel. They have the votes to get one of them out. Andy will vote with her and Sam.

Who is going to tribal council?

Gata and Tuku won immunity during the challenge. Lavo’s performance was tragic thanks to Rome’s inability to complete a puzzle. They are going to Tribal Council tonight.

While Lavo strategizes, three castaways are selected to go on a journey. Teeny, Andy, and Caroline are chosen. At the summit, they are given a choice. One player must volunteer to lose their vote at the next Tribal Council for all three players to gain a shared advantage. If they cannot come to a decision, all three of them will lose their vote. After some discussion, Teeny caves and agrees to lose her vote. Since a player sacrificed their vote, they are given an Amulet. It’s basically an Immunity Idol but all three of them must agree to use it on the same person. Interesting.

Who went home on Survivor 47?

Back at Lavo, the castaways are planning for Tribal Council. Rome wants to target Sol but Kishan is eager to make a big move. He hatches a plan to blindside Rome and fills in Genevieve and Sol. Kishan pats himself on the back for being a Survivor genius. Unfortunately for him, Genevieve now sees Kishan as a mastermind and runs to Rome to tell him the plan. Rome decides to use his Steal a Vote to steal Kishan’s vote and his master plan comes crumbling down. Kishan becomes the fourth person voted out of Survivor 47.

Survivor continues on Wednesdays on CBS.
