Stassi Schroeder is everywhere. The former Vanderpump Rules star has been making headlines recently thanks to the release of her new book, You Can’t Have It All: The Basic B*tch Guide to Taking the Pressure Off, and her upcoming Hulu docuseries, Stassi Says. In addition to her own show, Stassi joined the cast of Lisa Vanderpump’s VPR spinoff Vanderpump Villa for Season 2.
Fans were first introduced to Stassi in Season 1 of Vanderpump Rules. She quickly became the dominant presence on the show and an early fan favorite. Stassi departed from the series after Season 8 but her fanbase remained somewhat loyal. She continued to find success through her podcast “Stassi” and lucrative brand deals.
In honor of Stassi’s return to television, let’s take a trip back to where it all began. Here are her best moments on VPR …
When Stassi Schroeder referred to herself as the devil
It’s hard to beat Season 1 Stassi. She was unapologetically herself and crafted too many iconic insults to count. Viewers watched at home with fear and admiration. One of her best moments from the first season was when she proudly stated she was “the devil” during a lunch with her then-boyfriend Jax Taylor. The comment first came from Jax, who justified his decision to sleep on the couch by saying he didn’t want to “get in bed with the devil.” Stassi’s friends were shocked by the statement but she was unfazed. She wore the label proudly.
When Stassi said “it’s my f*cking birthday”
Stassi takes her birthday very seriously. In Season 1, the crew took a trip to Vegas to celebrate her 24th birthday, and let’s just say it didn’t go smoothly. Jax showed up uninvited to the event, which upset the newly single Stassi. She started yelling at him and the rest of the group got involved. Schwartz poured a drink on Stassi, Jax tried to fight his ex’s new guy in the parking lot, and the men ripped off their shirts for some reason. However, the best part of the evening was when Stassi uttered her iconic line, “It’s my f*cking birthday.”
When Stassi Schroeder read Scheana Shay to filth
Stassi returned to SUR with her tail between her legs after a dramatic exit the previous season. She began the graveling tour by scheduling a lunch with Lisa Vanderpump. During the makeup meal, Stassi was greeted cooly by their server, Scheana Shay. Scheana was clearly not thrilled to be waiting on her former co-worker and tried to get out of taking her drink order by telling Lisa, “She knows where the bar is.” Ouch. Stassi responded to Scheana’s silent treatment by telling her, “I’m not sure what I’ve done to you, but I’ll take a pinot grigio.” You can always count on Stassi to deliver a devastating one-liner. Bravo!
When Stassi called out Tom Sandoval
In Season 8 of VPR, Stassi decided to throw a book party at TomTom. She hammered out the details with LVP and Tom Schwartz beforehand but apparently, that wasn’t good enough for Tom Sandoval. He sent Stassi a string of text messages the night before, telling her the bar was not prepared for her event. In another text, he threatened to throw her and her guests out of the space if she blamed him for the event not going well. If that wasn’t bad enough, he showed up to the event and started complaining about Stassi. She reached a breaking point and confronted him about his behavior, which led to a huge fight. Stassi held her own, calling out Sandoval for his “egotistical” behavior.
When Stassi threw a murder-themed birthday party
Stassi celebrated her 29th birthday by throwing a murder-themed party. The Bravo alum has always had an affinity for the spooky stuff, so fans weren’t too surprised by the unconventional party theme. The bash itself was a bit of a hot mess, thanks to Stassi’s toxic relationship with Patrick Meagher. The vibes were bad and Stassi’s dark passenger persona made an appearance. While it didn’t look like an enjoyable party to attend, it made for great television.
