Will Kyle Richards ever leave Real Housewives of Beverly Hills? Well, Andy Cohen sure hopes not, despite what some loud fans might say.
Kyle became an unexpectedly controversial Housewife in 2023. When news broke of a fracture in her marriage, the Bravo community rallied around her. With the advent of RHOBH Season 13, fans expected to receive more insight into her situation.
Unfortunately, when Season 13 rolled around, fans remained mostly in the dark. So, while Kyle became one of the most-discussed stars of 2024, not all of that discussion was positive. Nevertheless, Andy certainly never had a problem.
Andy Cohen calls Kyle Richards “aspirational and relatable” to viewers
In a recent interview with Us Weekly, Andy had nothing but kind things to say about Kyle. Regarding her recent reported threats to quit the show, Andy shared, “I always hope she’ll stay.” Commenting on her strengths, Andy said, “I think she lets people in. I think she translates the world of Beverly Hills to the viewer and has for a long time.”
Us Weekly recently named Kyle their Reality Star of the Year. Andy had not known that but it didn’t surprise him. “She’s been aspirational and relatable, yet her life is totally glamorous,” he said. “We laugh with her, and we cry with her, and we look at her as a mom and a sister and a friend.” He added, “We can identify with her in all those roles.”
For her part, Kyle told the outlet in her cover piece, “Being on TV, you don’t have the luxury of choosing what you show. The stuff with my marriage was hard enough to go through without cameras.” She added, “At the time, my husband was not prepared to share anything, so it came off strange and that was hard. When I started talking more openly about it, I felt a lot better.”
