That sassy, old robot DANI really threw us for a loop in the latest episode of The Anonymous when she said that Dillian Frelow (aka Dillian the Celebrity) had been cut from the competition. Say it ain’t so! Not Dillian. Oh lord, sweet baby Jesus, not Dillian!

Of course, we already got a little taste of life without Dillian thanks to his little silent mode stunt in Episode 9, but now, it’s the real deal. He’s gone, and the show just got a little less fabulous.

Although Dillian’s presence will be greatly missed as we approach the finish line of The Anonymous Season 1, Reality Tea got the chance to catch up with the fashionista to discuss the elimination. The Texas native chatted about his exit from the show and whether or not he tried to sabotage Nina Twine on his way out the door.

According to Dillian, we are all invited to the #ChristopherisCancelledParty after that elimination. We saw Christopher Shulstad win the power to eliminate, and he wasted no time picking Dillian as his target.

“Baby, every time you see that little red circle I have to stand on, my nerves just get bad,” Dillian recalled of his elimination. “My blood pressure was high!”

Dillian and Chris had some history in the competition. Remember in Episode 4 when Dillian read Chris into the ground? He called him unfunny, loud, country as hell,” and a few other colorful adjectives. After watching the latest episode, Dillian conceded that Chris got a little taste of revenge.

“I think that it’s the perfect love story,” Dillian said with a laugh. “I told him that I was going to kick his butt and give him the boot, and he just ended up doing the same thing to me.”

On a serious note, Dillian said, “If anybody else would have kicked me out, I probably would have been a lot more upset, but the fact that it was him I was like, “That was cute. You got your lick back.'”

With that said, does Dillian have any regrets about going after Chris? Absolutely not. He assured us that he would do it “again and again and again” if he had the chance. Watch your back, Chris!

Nina and Dillian’s secret language

Before Dillian strutted out of the competition, he shared a heartfelt message to Nina, encouraging her to win the show. However, Nina quickly worried that his endorsement might have put a target on her back. Dillian assured us that sabotaging Nina was 100% not his intention.

“Nina is my girl,” Dillian explained. “Me and Nina, we would chop it up, and she would tell me the tea.”

Dillian said that he and Nina even had a little bit of a secret code to help them know who was working against them. It was such a secret that we never even saw a glimpse of this strategy on air.

He explained. “If I was like, ‘Do you like my shoes with this outfit?’ And she says, ‘Yes, I like your shoes with this outfit,’ then that means nobody is talking noise about me.”

There was a flipside to it, too. They also used that code to help alert them to any potential trouble. They’d use that intel to help their gameplay both in-person and in Anonymous Mode.

Dillian continued, “If I was like, ‘Hey do you like my shoes with this outfit, and she’s like, ‘Hmm. I think you should have worn the other shoes with that outfit.’ That’s a keyword that we need to talk soon because other people in the house are talking sh-t about me.”

With that context, it became extremely clear that Dillian wasn’t trying to put a target on Nina’s back when he left the competition. He was trying to do the exact opposite. They were “best friends,” and they wanted to make it to the finale together.

Plus, the editing of the episode made Dillian’s message to Nina look a little bit out of context. Dillian said he actually went around the dial and said something positive about all of the remaining players. Yes, even Chris!

“Nina was just my rock. I had her, and she had me. I just had to tell her straight up, ‘Girl, you’re fine. Please,” Dillian recalled.

The finale outfit we may never see

Whether it was an ode to Beyonce’s Cowboy Carter, a denim jumpsuit, or even just a stylishly wrapped blanket, we could always count on Dillian to bring the fashions. From the beginning of the show, he said that he wanted to last long enough in the competition to show off all of the fits.

He almost accomplished his goal, and obviously, he had something big planned for the finale. Dillian said he felt annoyed he wouldn’t get a chance to show it off.

“I was just mainly really upset that no one is going to get the chance to see my finale outfit,” Dillian said.

He continued, “I gave ya’ll all of this fashion all season long, and ya’ll just voted me out right before the finale? You know I would have turnt the house up.”

Trust and believe, we tried to get the details about his finale look. For now, he’s keeping it under wraps.

“I have to think about whether I’m going to save it for another potential show or something that comes about,” Dillian teased. “Or, I might just reveal it online. Who knows. I’m always thinking of something crazy.”

Stay tuned for more Dillian

For those of us who fell in love with Dillian on The Anonymous, we probably won’t have to wait too much longer to see him in action again. He is currently part of Snapchat’s 523 creator program, which aims to grow and build diverse voices. And now that he’s been bitten by the reality TV bug, there’s no going back.

“Baby, I am always doing the most. I juggle a lot of different hats, and I always have something up my screen,” Dillian teased. “So, this isn’t the last time you’re going to see me blessing your screens.”

The Anonymous continues on USA Network on Mondays at 9/10c.
