Welcome to the recap for Real Housewives of Orange County Season 18, Episode 15 called, Double Decker Drama. Last week, Shannon’s London trip got off to a rocky start. After a trip down the Thames, all the women seemed jovial. In typical fashion, Shannon stormed out, but not before getting the last word.
What happened on Real Housewives of Orange County Season 18, Episode 15?
God save the king and the ladies after that dinner from hell. Emily and Shannon meet for room service breakfast, where we learn Shannon hates mayo. That was enough to stop me in my tracks. However, Emily is more observant and sees past Shannon’s condiment segregation, noting that she seems sad, which is her norm. Even though Shannon wanted a fun night, she forgot that she couldn’t stop talking about her lawsuit. Day 2 is definitely off to a rough start, and Shannon proclaims she will not be on the double-decker bus.
The text that shall not be named…
Gina and Jenn head to the spa to discuss last night’s events. Gina reveals the 2018 texts from Alexis stating, “Everything you and Tamra said in the media since the divorce are lies. We will be getting an attorney.” Now Alexis has either had some amnesia or just ignored the fact that she sent these texts and used the ever-bonding “we” term.
Now, we all know Tamra lives for receipts. So something isn’t right that she was so comfortable sitting back and letting everyone think Shannon was a liar. But Tam-Tam has her own opinions and thinks Shannon’s superpower is making others feel bad for her.
Heather Dubrow is in hot water
Oh, Heather. Heather, Heather, Heather. This episode has barely started, and there is already so much to delve into. Last week, Heather was very upset that no one asked about her mammogram appointment. BUT Gina comes in with the clutch win, noting that Heather, in fact, did mention her appointment in a text but shared that she didn’t want to talk about it on camera!
Gina is deep diving with the receipts as she tells Jenn that Heather was discussing her tea party dress. In a producing moment, Heather is heard saying, “I was at Neiman Marcus, and I saw the dress Jenn wore. Jenn’s dress was two grand. I wouldn’t spend that kind of money if I can’t pay rent or my car payment.” Fancy Pants isn’t wrong.
Where’s little Ben?
The women regroup for a pretty calm double-decker tour. Sadly, they didn’t know England now had a King and that there was only Big Ben, which, fun fact, is the name of the bell. But alas, the chin-up and carry-on mentality can only go so far. Heather is grilled about her mammogram text and explains she was happy to talk about her history. Finally, Gina and the other women share that Heather has too high of expectations for them. To them, Heather is being a bad friend who thinks others’ feelings are bad news. However, this tiff isn’t something a trip around Camden Market can’t solve. And the day leads to yet another crappy dinner.
The Tudors would have been pleased
Directly after the mini espresso martinis were ordered, Jenn wasted no time in asking Heather what she thought of her dress. Fancy Pants seemed to know she had been caught for questioning the price tag and shared that she was just worried for Jenn. Somehow, the fight turns back to Jenn being upset with the woman for picking on her relationship. Didn’t we talk about this last season? Just asking for a friend. Jenn just keeps getting walloped by these women.
Shannon made one simple request during dinner: “Stop talking about me.” It made sense. For some odd reason, Tamra and Heather hold Shannon’s feet to the fire but not Alexis, and it feels like we are in the upside-down. However, Shannon opens Pandora’s box again and outs Tamra to Jenn. Jenn is infuriated to learn Tamra has done a background check on Ryan.
The Real Housewives of Orange County continues on Thursdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
