Real Housewives of Potomac Season 9 Taglines Revealed: Karen Huger Is ‘The Gatekeeper’

Real Housewives of Potomac is back on our TVs and firing on all cylinders, and now, the Season 9 taglines have arrived. Bravo decided to do a cast switch-up for Season 9, keeping core stars like Karen Huger and Gizelle Bryant in the mix. Alongside a strong crew of newbies, the ladies of Potomac are giving us drama, shade and plenty of entertainment so far.

Karen has been in the hot seat so far on RHOP. But, that’s the least we expected after the news of her DUI incident dropped. She’s not the only storyline on the show so far, and we’re only a couple of episodes in. Mia Thornton is still being as messy as ever, both in her friendships and her relationships. Well, maybe the same could be said for Ashley Darby. As we said, firing on all cylinders!

E! Online recently revealed the official taglines for RHOP Season 9. While most of them make sense now that we’re officially rolling into the season, there are a few that tease us about what’s to come. First up, we have Wendy Osefo, who referenced her decision to quit teaching in her intro. “I quit grading, but I’m still passing judgments.” On point, as always.

Remember when Gizelle had to reference “the streets” in every RHOP tagline season after season? She’s officially well beyond that phase and embracing the empty nester vibes. “When the girls are away, it’s time for Gizelle to play.” OK Gizelle, and if by play, you mean stir the pot. That seems more on-brand.

Keiarna Stewart is also back as an official RHOP cast member after a rocky first season. “I own a business, I mind my business and I stand on business.” Keiarna went cute and sassy for her first tagline, and we can’t be mad at it.

Messy Mia decided to reference her confusing love triangle because of course she did. “Marriage can be temporary, but Inc. is permanent.” Girl, we really hope Mr. Inc really is “the one” after all of this nonsense.

Karen’s back on the fence

After Karen confused all of us last year with her riding the fence tagline, she apparently decided to keep the comedic ball rolling. “Darling, I am the fence — and the gatekeeper.” Karen really is embracing the mob boss vibe in Season 9, and it’s a sight to behold.

Newbie Stacey Rusch hit the ground running with a shady first tagline. “I know how to host a show, and steal one too.” It sounds like we have a new candidate for the Grande Dame of Potomac. Who are we kidding – Karen is never letting that title go.

Finally, Ashley is embracing the single life this year. “From kiddie pools to the dating pool, I’m ready to dive in.” Alright, we’ve seen better. Regardless, we’re ready to see these taglines in action during next week’s RHOP episode.

Real Housewives of Potomac Season 9 continues on Sundays at 8/7c on Bravo.
