Stop the presses! It looks like Real Housewives of Orange County alum Elizabeth Lyn Vargas isn’t dating Jim Bellino after all. Alexis Bellino can breathe a sigh of relief, for now. There isn’t another messy love triangle forming.
Jim Bellino squashed the rumors
Rumors of Jim and Elizabeth dating spread like wildfire earlier this week after the two were photographed together at a restaurant. In a world of Slade Smileys and John Janssens, it wouldn’t be too out of left field to see Jim dating an RHOC alum.
The story about their relationship gained traction thanks to a report from TMZ, where they claimed the two connected through Elizabeth’s Girl Talk podcast. Allegedly, one of the co-hosts introduced the two and they hit it off from there.
The insider went on to say that Jim and Elizabeth had been an item for “around a month” and that they connected over golfing. On paper, that sounds really cute, but Jim is denying all of it. According to him, this is all “fake news.”
On Instagram, Jim took several opportunities to shut down the rumors. A podcaster named Sarah Fraser posted a video claiming that Jim told her the story was “completely untrue.” Underneath the post, Jim wrote, “Facts Elizabeth Vargas and I are not dating.”
He also took to his Instagram Story to address it. He shared a screenshot of the TMZ article and added, “No, we are not dating end of conversation.”
Although the picture of Elizabeth and Jim together activated the RHOC fanbase, we’ll have to take Jim’s word for it that there’s no romantic connection there. Perhaps this was all just a plot to get people to pay attention to these unknown podcasts.
