Jeff Lewis Returning to Bravo With ‘Flipping Out Reboot’

Remain calm. Hell hasn’t frozen over, but somehow, Jeff Lewis is coming back to Bravo with a Flipping Out reboot. Who would have thought we’d ever see the day? The real estate superstar revealed all of the details on a recent episode of his SiriusXM show, and we have our fingers crossed that nothing jeopardizes this project.

Flipping Out aired for 11 seasons on Bravo before getting canceled in 2018. At the time, the show had been caught up in a lawsuit where Jeff’s surrogate claimed cameras filmed her giving birth without her consent.

Ultimately, that lawsuit got dropped. However, Jeff’s public relationship with the network always seemed strained. He often criticized the network, and let’s not even get started on that nasty feud he had with his former assistant Jenni Pulos. Now, it sounds like Bravo is wiping the slate clean and giving him another shot.

Flipping Out 2.0 has the green light

Jeff spilled the beans about the upcoming project during an episode of his SiriusXM show, Jeff Lewis Live. Although it sounds like the show is still early in preproduction, Jeff assured his audience that the contract had been signed.

“We’ve been kind of hinting at the fact that there is a new television show on the horizon, and we have not given any details. I can’t give too many, too many details, but I can tell you a little bit more,” Jeff teased.

“So, my contract is signed. I am in development right now with Bravo and 32 Flavors Productions on a new show for Bravo,” he continued. “All I can tell you is it’ll be a docuseries. You can kind of think of it like a Flipping Out reboot, Flipping Out 2.0 and I’m really very, very, very excited.”

Jeff went on to praise all of his “friends” at Bravo. His show may have been canned, but he was never fully blacklisted like certain other Bravo talent of yesteryear.

For example, Andy Cohen just had him on Watch What Happens Live to celebrate their 15th anniversary. With that in mind, Jeff said coming back to Bravo felt like going “back to high school.”

He explained, “Yeah, so for me, it is like going home. You know, they are the ones that really made me. They took a risk on me. They invested their time, their money, they supported me over 11 years with three different shows and I’m very, very, very excited to go back”
