The vibes have been weird in Season 15 of Real Housewives of New York. All the friendships have shifted, and Brynn Whitfield is stirring the pot like she is a chef. After all, Brynn walked out of her own party after fighting with Sai De Silva and Erin Lichy.
Erin Lichy and Brynn Whitfield cook up a gross prank
All the ladies headed to Erin’s house in the Hamptons. Sai was still angry at Brynn, and Ubah Hassan also had issues with Brynn. Sounds like a great time! After taking several different cars, and a helicopter, all the ladies finally arrive. As soon as the drama is squashed with this group, it fires back up again. Right now, Brynn is at the center of most of the chaos.
During RHONY Season 15, Episode 4, the ladies plan for a nice Shabbat dinner at home. Meanwhile, Erin and Brynn decide to play a prank. And it involved a creepy critter. “The cockroach looks real! This is a New York City cockroach,” Brynn said of Erin’s fake bug. Of course, the duo decides that the perfect perch would be Jenna Lyons’ pavlova with fruit. “Ubah [Hassan] will freak out!” Brynn told Erin. Maybe that might not be what is best for Brynn.
In her confessional, Brynn explained the reason for the prank. “We’re not trying to actually upset anyone. Just gross people out – shock value. Like, it’s going to make some people mad for sure,” she said. “Like, at least we get a laugh.”
And Brynn’s partner in crime was equally as excited. Erin said in her confessional, “Jenna, going on and on about the pavlova. I have heard the word pavlova maybe 50 times. So of course, I want to put roaches in the pavlova. Chef’s kiss!” she added.
After dinner, the ladies started eating the pavlova from the serving plate. When no cockroach appeared, Erin scooped some of the dessert on Jessel Taank’s plate. Voila!
“There is eight f*cking legs in my plate. Oh my god!” Jessel screamed, picking up the faux bug and tossing it back on her plate. Ubah, as predicted, was freaked out and spit out her dessert. Of course, Jenna could spot a fake and licked the meringue off the critter. “Is that why you kept offering to help?” Jenna asked Brynn and Erin, who were laughing.
Meanwhile, Sai ran after Ubah, who was vomiting in the bathroom. She told Ubah the bug was fake, but then Sai started to get sick, too. “Oh my god, everyone’s throwing up. Ew!” Erin yelled. “They’re throwing up in my sinks!” Well, maybe Erin got her just desserts for playing the prank.
