Sai De Silva has been an integral part of the Real Housewives of New York reboot. The social media influencer has found herself the poster child of “hangry” New Yorkers. And has done her fair share of stirring the pot. With Season 15 underway, viewers are seeing a brand new, calmer, more zen-like Sai. But does this new attitude mean she is considering a permanent move outside the Big Apple?
Sai De Silva is a New Yorker at heart
In the preview for the Real Housewives of New York, Episode 5, fans watched as Sai contemplated where to go next in her life. Sometimes, all you need is a change of scenery, and it seems Sai may be leaning towards jumping on the bandwagon. While taking a break from garden shopping, Sai and her husband, David, start having a heart-to-heart about their future. The Bravo star joked that if she “goes to Whole Foods and spends $400 on another shopping trip,” she was going to go crazy. But it feels like Sai has more on her mind than just outrageous grocery bills.
Real Housewives of New York fans learned that Sai and her husband purchased a new home in Upstate New York two years ago. The family now enjoys spending their weekends and summers out of the hustle and bustle of the city. Sai noted, “If it were up to my husband, we would all end up moving upstate and starting a farm.” Thankfully, a long, white nose hair on David sidetracked the conversation. Sai took to her confessional to joke, “Honey, I would never move. I’m a New Yorker forever. If I don’t hear sirens and people saying ‘f*ck you’ in the morning, I don’t feel safe.” The mother of two added, “I don’t do quiet quiet. It’s not for me.” So far now, it looks like Sai is staying put.
