Former Real Housewives of New York star Bethenny Frankel has done quite a bit throughout her reality TV life to have earned the right to be mocked. Between Bethenny’s Scary Island outburst, attempted takedown of Carole Radziwill, and ability to alienate Chanel, she has given an abundance of stand-up material. SNL wasted no time jumping on the bandwagon to mock the Skinnygirl CEO, and it turns out B wasn’t even mad.
Bethenny Frankel can laugh at herself being parodied on SNL
During the most recent Saturday Night Live episode, the comedians decided to mock some of the biggest and trendiest influencers out there. The cast set the bar by making multiple videos in the October 19 episode that parodied these popular accounts. The skit was genius, as it felt like a user was just scrolling through their feed. But one particular video caught the attention of Bravo fans.
SNL cast member Chloe Fineman embodied Bethenny during one of her much-loved critique sessions. This particular review was for Bethenny’s July 2023 seafood Mukbang review. In an attempt to copy Bethenny’s voice, Chloe joked, “Look at this crab meat; it’s sick. It’s insane.”
It turns out that Bethenny is a fan of being name-dropped on the famed sketch show. She took to her own TikTok to note, “Alright, guys, we made it. We’ve been mocked on the SNL seafood boil video. I’ve been mocked on SNL multiple times.”
Bethenny was out for a morning walk and shared, “I love it. I’ve been made fun of on ‘Parks and Rec’, and ‘Family Guy,’ and ‘The Other One’. I’ve made it, you know, doing it my own way. Buying my own seafood in my own hotel room with my own big girl money, my own plastic gloves, and not giving a good f*ck what people think.”
