It’s an upsetting thought, but we almost didn’t have Teresa Giudice on Season 2 of House of Villains. She almost chickened out because she didn’t want to leave Luis Ruelas and her daughters. Family comes first!
Thankfully, Tre managed to muster up the courage to join the competition, and the show is better because of it. For example, she bonded with Richard Hatch over their criminal histories within five minutes of entering the house. It’s reality TV gold, and she recently opened up about how her husband and kids supported her leaning into her inner villain.
Teresa Giudice needed her family’s support
The Real Housewives of New Jersey OG spoke to Bravo’s The Daily Dish about her role on House of Villains Season 2 and her initial hesitancy to leave her family.
“At first I was like, you know what? I don’t know. I think I felt bad being away. And then I was feeling bad and I wanted to give my spot away,” Tre admitted.
She continued, “But then my kids, and even Louie, they’re like, ‘Listen, mom, you’re there now.’ And Lou said, ‘Babe, you’re there now.’ He said, ‘Give it your all, don’t give up.'”
With a $200,000 grand prize up for grabs, Teresa definitely isn’t giving up. So far, she’s tried to make alliances with the other villains to keep herself afloat. In one episode, she tried cooking an Italian meal for the rest of the villains, which had mixed results. Regardless, Teresa said Luis and her daughters were supportive of her every step of the way.
Teresa said, “I’m glad I did it, you know, I was skeptical at the beginning about doing the show because of the title. But now that I did it, I’m so happy I did it.”
