One of the most stable relationships on Southern Charm throughout the past decade has been the bromance between Craig Conover and Austen Kroll. Like any couple, they bicker and fight but always come back together stronger. Not only are Austen and Craig best buds, but they’re also business partners. It truly is like a platonic marriage that sometimes has its messy moments.
It’s nearing time for Southern Charm to premiere its tenth season. It’s quite an accomplishment for the crew of southern belles and good ol’ boys to reach a decade on reality TV. Despite the celebratory moment, Craig is hinting that it won’t be smooth sailing for he and Austen this year. We’ve seen them feud in seasons past and it looks like Season 10 will feature another round.
Craig Conover and Austen Kroll will struggle in Southern Charm Season 10
In an interview with OK! Magazine, Craig teased that he and Austen experience some “challenges” when it comes to gearing up to open a bar together in Charleston.
“I think I’ve learned a lot of patience in the latter years of my life. I think our work ethics are different,” Craig said. “I don’t know if there’s a right or wrong. I think there are differences in people.”
Craig did confirm that this tension will be on full display during Southern Charm Season 10. “You’ll see it this upcoming season — and you’ll see it as we continue to live our lives,” Craig continued.
“I think when you work together as closely as we have been, those tensions are going to be harder and harder to sweep under the rug. So, that’s definitely something to look forward to.” Bring on Season 10.
