Real Housewives of Dubai’s Chanel Ayan Wants Cast ‘Shakeup’

The Real Housewives of Dubai had an interesting second season. Cast favorites Lesa Milan and Chanel Ayan got into a massive fight at the finale, and their friendship still hasn’t recovered. Meanwhile, the professional model got close to Caroline Stanbury. Arguably, that was the root issue between Lesa and Chanel.

Newbie Taleen Marie went against her friend, Caroline Brooks, and brought the drama. Sara Al-Madani had a lot of personal strife but functioned as a peacemaker between her friends.

And RHODubai fans could guess the comment she recently made about needing a cast shakeup was directed at her former bestie.

Is Chanel Ayan making a dig at someone?

Chanel is requesting new cast members who can be transparent and authentic with the rest of the group.

The makeup mogul made the statement on her social media. Content creator Cici Loves You shared the post on her Instagram page.

“Dubai housewives need a shakeup,” the Real Housewives of Dubai star wrote. “We need new people. Not people who steal people’s personality that they never had.” Chanel requested the newbies are true to themselves. “So, a shakeup is needed. Period dot.”

It’s worth noting that Chanel did not feel Lesa was authentic with her towards the end of Season Two. During the finale party, the Mina Roe founder accused Chanel of lying. In fact she shouted it multiple times in front of the group.

However, the designer tried to make it right by reaching out to Chanel. But she received no response.

Fast forward to the reunion, and the two were still at odds. Chanel was offended again after Lesa said that she used Ozempic, among other issues.

So is Chanel simply saying that Lesa needs to be replaced or does she envision a change in the entire group? If so, what would that look like and what kind of personality dynamic does the group need?

The professional model did not elaborate, she simply stirred the pot a bit and stepped back.

Real Housewives of Dubai is currently streaming on Peacock.
