Scandoval may have been Ariana Madix’s lowest point back in early 2023. But a year and a half later, Ariana is riding high. In a poetic way, Ariana turned her lowest point into her greatest success.
Reality fans knew of Vanderpump Rules. General audiences had some familiarity with it. But Scandoval truly put the show on the map and gave it some staying power, if only for another year. Given the publicity around Scandoval, Ariana was bigger than ever.
Ariana scooped up multiple opportunities from the good publicity. Most notably, she killed it as Roxie Hart in Chicago on Broadway. She also picked up hosting duties on Love Island USA. Come 2025, she’ll have even more TV appearances.
Ariana Madix will play herself on Will Trent
On October 30, Variety reported on Ariana’s upcoming appearance on Will Trent. The ABC procedural is based on Karin Slaughter’s series of best-selling novels. The show stars the likes of Ramón Rodríguez as the titular character, along with the likes of Erika Christensen and Gina Rodriguez.
As for Ariana’s place in Season 3, she will play herself. The show’s context will find her in Atlanta for work while also looking to stage an intervention for a friend. She hires Jake McLaughlin’s character, Detective Michael Ormewood, to work security for the intervention. For now, that’s everything there is to know about Ariana’s upcoming appearance.
As far as PR goes, ABC must be well-pleased. Almost every entertainment outlet has reported on Ariana’s upcoming guest role. This will likely be the first time many viewers have heard of the show Will Trent. On the other side of things, Ariana is likely happy with her agents and reps for landing her opportunity after opportunity.
