Real Housewives of Potomac OG Gizelle Bryant’s ex-husband is getting married again. Back on May 26, Jamal Bryant announced his engagement to his girlfriend, Dr. Karri Turner. Will Gizelle attend the wedding?
Though her three daughters with Jamal will surely be there, Gizelle won’t be present on her ex’s big day. While sharing how “happy” she is for the couple on Jamal’s Instagram post, she recently revealed that she won’t be attending.
“Sure [I’m going], it’s gonna be all about me,” Gizzy joked before adding, “No, I’m not going to the wedding … I wouldn’t do that to that woman.”
Does Gizelle Bryant want to get married again?
The Daily Dish asked the EveryHue Beauty founder if she ever sees herself walking down the aisle again. Though she’d like to be in a serious relationship again at some point, she’s not sure about getting married again.
“Committed relationships, sure. Marriage … still on the fence on that,” she admitted.
Introducing his new fiancée to his church, Jamal said, “I am so grateful to God that she has consented to be my wife. I can’t tell you how happy I am … and I hope my church is happy for me.”
“My heart is overjoyed, and my destiny is in clear focus,” the Atlanta pastor added in the caption of his Instagram post. “Love always wins!!”
Married from 2002 to 2009, Jaml and Gizelle share three daughters: Grace and twins, Angel and Adore. Gizelle has been vocal about Jamal’s cheating being the cause of their divorce. In her own words, he was a “cheater, cheater, pumpkin eater.” But they put any animosity behind them for the sake of their girls.
In 2019, they took another try at romance, but the relationship didn’t last. At BravoCon 2023, Gizelle revealed that she has no regrets about trying to rekindle a relationship with Jamal, and they are in a good place today. “If you know me, you know I have no regrets,” she said.
“He and I have known each other for 20-plus years, we have three beautiful daughters,” she continued. “He was in a different mental space. So, I felt like if ever we were going to get the family back together, that was the time to try. It didn’t work out. But I think I would have regretted not trying.”
The Real Housewives of Potomac airs Sundays at 8/7c on Bravo.
