Real Housewives of Orange County just aired the explosive finale for Season 18 filled with so many twists and turns. One of the most shocking might have been a cameo from OG RHOC star Jo De La Rosa. Sure, plenty of current drama was wrapped up in the episode, but no one saw the appearance from Jo coming.
Shockingly, the entire RHOC cast is actually on good terms with Jo these days. It’s pretty unheard of for any Real Housewives star, especially in Orange County, to not have any enemies at all. Jo is not only an OG but seemingly an anomaly. And after her Season 18 cameo, Jo is apparently toying with the idea of a full-time return to the show that she helped start.
Jo De La Rosa eyes an RHOC return
After her RHOC cameo last week, Jo spoke with Us Weekly about the possibility of getting her orange back. She admitted that filming the finale was the first time she was in the room with the entire current cast at once. “Everyone was so kind to me. Some of them were like, ‘I used to watch you on your first season.’ To me, that was crazy surprising,” Jo said.
Then, she revealed that she’s planning on moving back to Orange County, so she’s not counting out a full-time return to reality TV. These days, she’s happily married to a man whose job is taking him back to the OC. “If there’s a world where it makes sense, amazing! If not, that’s okay. I’m here to support the girls,” Jo said of a possible return.
Jo even outlined what her storyline would look like for RHOC Season 19. “It feels very full circle to me because when I was first [on the show], I had just gotten engaged at 23 and now I’m married,” Jo added. “We’re trying to have a baby. It’s very full circle. She’s a grown-up now, but not really. She’s forever 27.”
Finally, she shared one more crazy idea – bringing back her ex Slade Smiley, and his current wife/former RHOC star Gretchen Rossi. “If Gretchen and Slade come back, I’m here for it. We could do a double date,” she said. “I would love for Gretchen and Slade to meet my husband. Gretchen and I are good. Everything is fine.” Jo really might be the most chill Real Housewives star of all time. Let’s bring them all back – the more, the merrier.
