Season 9 of The Real Housewives of Potomac is already an improvement over last season. And newbie Stacey Rusch, who is a friend of the Grand Dame Karen Huger, is a big part of that. Her celibate relationship is fascinating to all of the ladies. Meanwhile, Stacey is still trying to figure out all the weird friendship dynamics in the group.
During the trip to Lake Norman, when she was given the room with bunk beds, she was excited! Most of the cast would have packed and booked other accommodations. However, Stacey is a positive person who doesn’t anger easily. And so, Stacey caught the eye of veteran housewife Tamra Judge, who added her two cents.

Then, we have Gizelle Bryant, who also weighed in on Stacey’s personality. “I truly appreciate her. She’s like the little gnat that won’t go away. I like her,” Gizelle explained. “I like her around but then I want her gone.”
Well, Teddi Mellencamp and Tamra discussed Stacey on their podcast, Two T’s In A Pod. First, they discussed Stacey’s acceptance of her room arrangements. “I do appreciate Stacey’s ability to keep the show on their toes by not reacting to it and pretending it was a good thing,” Teddi said. “She did not mind, because she wanted bunk beds as a kid and never had them.”
“Bullsh*t!” Teddi exclaimed. Then she went hilariously off-topic. “I realize that we’re supposed to be talking about Stacey here, but I was very distracted this entire scene. Please tell me you noticed Karen’s wallpaper.”
Tamra replied, “I didn’t.” Teddi stated, “It was a photo of herself.” Then a confused Tamra said, “No,” in disbelief. Same, Tamra.
Well, back to Stacey! “Stacey asked who called her boring, and Mia [Thornton] says they all agree that she’s uninteresting,” Teddi said. “And that’s just rude. Like what are they, four episodes in at this point?” Tamra remarked.
“Like give the girl a chance. I think she’s a little bit of a breath of fresh air. Now we got the breath of fresh air,” the Real Housewives of Orange County star said. “Now we need to see you do something, girl.”
Still, Teddi remained a bit skeptical. “I am seeing a little bit of like, QVC pageant,” she stated. “Like, everything’s perfect all the time.” Of course, Stacey was a host at QVC, so that is fitting. I do like Stacey, and I hope she continues to open up as the season progresses.
