Southern Charm alum Naomie Olindo has an adorable and furry new companion. She took to social media to share the latest addition to her fur family, an adorable Labrador Retriever named Olive.
Naomie shared that she adopted Olive from the pooch Lowcountry Lab Rescue. The organization is a volunteer non-profit that rescues dogs from South Carolina shelters and helps them find their forever homes.
Naomie Olindo is a fur momma and an animal lover
Things have been less tense for Naomie since her days on Southern Charm. Back then drama and tumultuous relationships dogged her (pun intended). But since then, she’s found a special someone and can focus on being happy being a fur mom and an animal advocate.
And she couldn’t be happier to welcome Olive to her family. She shared a photo of her and the adorable golden puppy on Instagram with the caption, “Hi world, meet Olive!”
She shared that Olive was found starving on the side of the highway in Columbia, SC by a good Samaritan. Naomie also thanked the rescue for connecting her with her new baby. “Thank you to Lowcountry Lab Rescue for my new baby and Omlete’s (her cat’s) new sister that he doesn’t want! Can’t wait to get this girl healthy and happy.”
As a longtime lover of animals and animal advocate, this isn’t Naomie’s first time parenting a fur baby. During her time on Bravo, fans enjoyed several looks at her cat Gizmo who unfortunately passed a year after Naomie left Southern Charm.
A year after Gizmo passed, Naomie adopted Omelete in 2022. And now, Olive has come to complete the family.
And it looks like she’s settled in beautifully. Naomie shared more snaps of the pair and captioned them “Spend a day with Olive and Me!” She shared that Olive went with her to the gym, to grab a pup cup, and to work. A fun day indeed.
Southern Charm is currently streaming on Peacock.
