Who knew that Bachelor star Joey Graziadei had such smooth dance moves? He has been killing it during Season 33 of Dancing with the Stars. And his fiancée, Kelsey Anderson, is supporting him every step of the way. She is there in the ballroom cheering for Joey every week.
Kelsey Anderson has had some “personal” issues lately
Kelsey, who met Joey on that infamous dating show, recently shared an update in her Instagram Story. According to PEOPLE, Kelsey posted a selfie holding a glass of wine. “Haven’t been on social media much the past couple days due to personal reasons but hoping everyone used their privilege to vote today or mailed in their votes,” Kelsey wrote over the image. “And now we all cross our fingers and wait … and maybe have a glass of wine … or the whole bottle.” She also included a close-up photo of her apparently snapping her fingers. “Don’t want yall to get the wrong idea Joey and I are good,” she wrote with a heart emoji.
Of course, this wouldn’t be the first time that the pressure of DWTS stressed a relationship to the breaking point. During Season 31, Bachelorette star Gabby Windey and Erich Schwer, her fiancé, broke up while she was competing. To his credit, Joey seems to have thought about ways to make sure that Kelsey was comfortable with his stint in the ballroom. “So, I asked when I got on the show to be paired with someone that was in a successful and healthy relationship,” he previously explained.
So, Joey was paired with Jenna Johnson, who is married to fellow DWTS pro-Val Chmerkovskiy. They share one son, Rome. Meanwhile, Jenna and Joey have been doing amazing, often staying at the top, or near the top, of the leaderboard. Right now, the couple’s wedding planning is on hold while Joey focuses on bringing home The Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy.
Meanwhile, in a TikTok, Kelsey sounded off about fans commenting about how close Jenna and Joey are in the ballroom. “I’m just so tired of everyone being like, ‘Kelsey’s so strong, I could not do this, I could not watch this if I was Kelsey.’ Do y’all remember how Joey and I met?” Kelsey asked. “We met on The Bachelor. He was dating 31 other women … and I won the Super Bowl ring.” Boom!
