Season 15 of The Real Housewives of New York has already served us plenty of fashion, with a healthy side of drama. We have a new housewife, Racquel Chevremont, along with a new friend of, Rebecca Minkoff. While fans had a chance to get to know the core squad last season, there has been a major shift in this friend group. I mean, a seismic shift. Of course, most of the drama is courtesy of Brynn Whitfield.

The flirty, charming, and funny marketing consultant started the season with a new pup named Sugar. She also bid goodbye to the West Village and moved to an apartment in Gramercy Park.

Of course, Brynn isn’t happy with Erin Lichy because of comments that she made on a podcast. When Erin was a guest on Jeff Lewis’ podcast, he asked Erin if Brynn was being secretly supported by a man. Erin said no, but according to Brynn, she didn’t defend her vigorously enough.

With all the drama swirling around her, is RHONY’s Brynn Whitfield stirring the pot too much? Let’s take a deep dive into all the chaos that Brynn is involved in.

Brynn Whitfield loves to stir up drama on RHONY

Brynn shared a preview clip for Season 15 via Instagram. In the clip, Brynn said, “I have carpal tunnel because I stir the pot so much.” She certainly does, and she embraces it!

During last season, Brynn seemed light-hearted and mischievous. While she did cause some drama during Season 14, her natural charm compensated for it most of the time. Yes, she did flirt with Erin’s husband, Abe Lichy, at Erin and Abe’s anniversary party. She also landed Sai De Silva in hot water over a comment that she never made about Erin’s defenseless cheese board.

However, I do feel for Brynn because of her upbringing. She and her two siblings were adopted and raised by her grandmother. And the loss of her grandmother was hard for Brynn. Plus, holidays were so difficult that Sai had a “Brynnsgiving” so that Brynn could have a place to go and feel like she was with family.

When Season 15 began, Brynn also created some drama between Erin and Jenna Lyons. Reportedly, when Jenna’s car broke down, Erin called her an Uber. And Jenna didn’t reimburse her for it. Is this a real issue?

Previously, Brynn told Jenna that Erin allegedly shaded her financial stability. However, Jenna revealed that she talked to Erin about that, and she denied it. So, who will Jenna believe? It seems that she isn’t sure, but is leaning towards Brynn.

Brynn Whitfield argues with Erin Lichy and Sai De Silva at her party

Brynn held a party at The Fleur Room. Unfortunately, a heaping dose of yelling would be on the menu. Naturally, Brynn and Sai still had issues from last season.

You may recall that Ubah Hassan shared with Sai that she was dating a man. It was supposed to be a secret, but Sai told Brynn about Ubah’s Mr. Connecticut. And then, during the Season 14 finale, Brynn asked Ubah about her man on camera. Needless to say, both Ubah and Sai were upset with Brynn.

At the party, Jenna told Sai that she knew that Sai was talking about her. Since Sai has been to therapy to work on her anger and live a more Zen-focused life, she isn’t letting issues fester. She apologized for making comments about Jenna but clarified that she never said that she “hated” her.

Eventually, Sai realized that Brynn had told Jenna about that comment, just like she told Jenna about Erin calling her “poor.” In her confessional, Sai broke down Brynn’s behavior. “Brynn is doing what Brynn does, and she can’t stand if anyone in this friendship group gets close to one another,” Sai explained. “She needs to stir the pot, sprinkle some little bullsh*t in it, and then feed it to all of us so we don’t get along.” I think it is more that Brynn is just gossiping and repeating what she has heard.

Both Sai and Erin went after Brynn, with Sai calling her “Satan.” Erin told Brynn, “I get hurt because I actually cared about you. You’re like a bad friend.” In the end, Brynn left the party in tears. After everyone’s explosive behavior, Jenna thought that Brynn’s hasty exit was the right move. I’m with Jenna F*cking Lyons on this one.

Brynn Whitfield’s falling out with Ubah Hassan

Ubah and Brynn were tight last season. However, when Brynn brought up Ubah’s secret love interest on camera, it shattered the trust between Sai and Brynn, and Brynn and Ubah.

It caused Ubah to start to move away from Brynn. And Brynn’s exaggerations of what others have said upset Ubah. To be clear, we are watching a Real Housewives show. There are close friendships, but everyone talks about each other. And some ladies are fond of exaggerating a bit.

During the Hamptons trip, Ubah snapped at Brynn, “You are a snake. Nobody sees you coming!” Later on, Ubah explained to Brynn that when she is condescending, it triggers her. Then Brynn fired back that she didn’t appreciate Ubah screaming at her.

In the RHONY Season 15 trailer, viewers saw the duo trading insults about Ubah’s career. “You’re not Naomi! You’re not Giselle!” Brynn yelled. “Naomi wish! Giselle wish!” Ubah fired back.

Then Brynn told Ubah, “You’re delusional. You model for Dress Barn!” Yikes! While it is unclear whether Ubah and Brynn make amends this season, their feud looks like it spans for quite a while.

So, while Brynn may have been stirring the RHONY pot too much so far, let’s see who else is cooking in the kitchen. I have a feeling that she isn’t the only one mixing up something spicy.
