The two of them just went to a Jelly Roll concert and whooped it all night while looking like a little more than just friends. They even got invited backstage for a VIP meet-and-greet with the singer and his wife. Naturally, Kim documented the entire thing on her Instagram.
If Jelly Roll is your cup of tea, then this might have looked like a fun time to you. We’re just finding ourselves hyperfocused on how Kim and Chet were cozied up together all night long in all of the pictures. Did their showmance from The Surreal Life spill over into the real world?

Questions about Chet and The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum first started floating around when the two of them appeared together on The Surreal Life: Villa of Secrets. The two almost immediately started flirting with each other, and they teased a potential hookup between the two.
Of course, Kim’s looming divorce from Kroy Biermann complicated their showmance. During the season, Chet admitted to feeling a little bit confused about how to move forward with her.
“Obviously she’s married still, even though she’s going through a divorce. She’s still married,” Chet explained in a Surreal Life confessional. “So, you know, I don’t figure that she’s really taking this seriously. But I start wondering to myself, well, maybe she is.”
Months have passed, and nothing has changed regarding the status of Kim and Kroy’s divorce. He’s debating filing for bankruptcy. Their house is in a perpetual state of being at risk of foreclosure. It’s a mess, but it seems like Chet is offering Kim a break from the madness.
In the past, both Chet and Kim were coy when talking about their relationship. According to Daily Mail, Chet said they were just “really good friends.” Later, he said he would move to Atlanta to be with her. Is that what friends do?
“I’m living in Nashville right now, so it’s not that far,” he explained earlier this year.
With that in mind, it’s possible that Chet just took a little road trip to reunite with his Surreal Life pal. In theory, this could have been a platonic date night. Just in case it’s more than that, we’ll be keeping a close eye on these two.
